Rating: Summary: An amazing new awareness of Hungarian history! Review: I loved this book! The connection to music was wonderful for me, personally. What I found, though, was an understanding of what the Hungarian people have gone through which was truly valuable to me. I have Hungarian neighbors whom I had no sensitivity towards before I read this book. While seeking my own pleasure in the reading of a novel, I garnered an appreciation for these people that wasn't available to me and I likely would not have looked elsewhere. Thankyou to Ms. Mortman for the human and historical lessons that everyone should be privey to!
Rating: Summary: Totally entertaining Review: I'm usually not into romance books, but this book enthralled me with it's history of the hungarian people, their culture, and what happened during the revolution. Even if you do not enjoy romance, read this book if you want to learn about the hungarian people. Overall an amazing read!

Rating: Summary: Dribble Review: Predictable Harlequin Romance dribble! Certainly not a must read
Rating: Summary: Totally entertaining Review: The history, the romance, the excitement.. all well written. I couldn't put it down.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Dreadful Review: The only reason to read this book, with its Hungarian Rhapsody theme and Hungarian goulash plot, is its unintentionally amusing portrait of a certain Juilliard faculty member, who goes by the name "Paul Greco" in the novel, but who has achieved some degree of fame (or is it notoriety?) in real life. The rapturous, over-the-top descriptions of Greco (from the author's personal experience?) are alone worth the effort of locating this truly abysmal book in the library.
