Power of a Woman

Review: Woman of Substance was one of the classic novels of our time. On a par with Gone With the Wind.Power of a Woman, in my opinion, was only published because Bradford had previously written a great classic novel. "Power" is dialog burdened with no character development and details to fill the pages to earn the advance i.e., the clean apron to be murdered in. Since Woman of Substance I have looked forward to a Bradford book, but this was not in keeping ith the quality of her previous work.
