Rating: Summary: I loved this book!!!! Review: I really dont know what you people are talking about when you say this is a poorly written book. I loved it so much, and I couldn't put it down. THe stuggles that the couples went through to get pregant were very encouraging to the people that really do have infertility problems. I loved it and i recmomend it to anyone.

Rating: Summary: Educational Review: I really liked this book. As a person who has no problem conceiving, I found it interesting to read a story from 3 points of view of couples who have this problem. I really sympathized with all of them. I would definitely recommend this book to a lot of people.
Rating: Summary: defitnely not one of her best... Review: I stopped reading this mid-second chapter. Indeed, it was about sex. But it could have been very touching. Where was the gripping fiction Ms. Steel normally writes? And, all of them had slept with their to be husband's before marriage. Doesn't anyone wait for marriage anymore?
Rating: Summary: Great book! I really related to this. Review: I suffer from infertility and I really related to these characters, especially Diane. Ms. Steel accurately portrayed the heartbreak that goes along with infertility. This book was well-researched and well-written. It also gave me hope in my own quest for a baby!
Rating: Summary: Not bad, for a Danielle Steel. Review: I was given this book as a gift, when I was struggling with my own infertility. Believe it or not, I was moved by the other characters struggles, emotions and complexities. I was surprised to read about the medical technology which would later be used with me and thought this must have been the best researched novel in Steel's repertoire. Not bad, for a Danielle Steel.
Rating: Summary: very nice and touching story Review: It's a story of three different couples who tried so hard to have a child. Very touching.
Rating: Summary: I loved it!! Review: Mixed Blessings *****
Ths story or should I say THESE stories were wonderful. DS discusses three diffirent families with one problem...getting babies. This book kept me on my toes. I must say that I liked the judge/loyer storyline best.
If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would.
Rating: Summary: Nice but predictable.... Review: Not a bad book, but I found it fitting into the stereotype of so many of Steel's books. It didn't have any substance, so many of the characters were hollow. Later I saw the movie, and it too was "flat". If you are a Steel fan, which I'm not, then you will probably like it. But I just find most of her writing too meaningless.
Rating: Summary: Captures well all the complexities of a woman's emotions Review: The only reason that it took me three days to finish this book was due to the fact that I wanted to savor every detail of Steel's novel. I believe that she captured the emotional complexities involved with a woman in her attempt to create a new life. All three couples had varied situations, but each one was unique in their own way. One was able to relate at some level to each person's struggle. I, personally, was able to relate to the first couple and her constant disappointment when she was unable to conceive in their first attempts. Also, I think that Steel did great research in the area of fertility procedures, not just technically, but on an emotional level. The title was approapriately named:)
