Summary: You'd think DS was a man!
Review: It's amazing when you read some of DS stories, and they are written from a man's point of view...I'm a woman, but I think she does a very convincing job of placing herself & the reader in their shoes. This is such a great story, I like to read about places & things I haven't experienced. And this story takes you to a place & life style not everyone knows, it's very interesting.

Summary: Fine, this book defintely was not! Good, but not great.
Review: Ms. Steel could have done much better on this novel, in my opinion. She just didn't have a real page turner this time, I'm sorry to say. I could barely force myself to turn the pages. And besides, who falls in love four times in their love and always swears of love, but finds it again ? I'm not so sure this is realistic.

Summary: A beautiful love story
Review: The character of Bernie Fine, exemplifies what every woman in the world, wishes the men of the world, were like today. The manner in which Ms. Steel writes about these characters, I almost believed them to be real. I loved this book and enjoyed reading it immensly. The reader will not be disappointed.

Summary: heart gripping.......
Review: This book provides a good lesson on how one can cope with the death of losing the loved ones. The scene when Liz died is very touching and the following chapters when Bernie tries to cope with her death together with his stepdaughter Jane actually makes us stop to ponder if one can really cope with the pain. However, Bernie made it and like what they say, "time heals..." I couldn't agree more. It is a great book !

Summary: One of Danielle Steel's finest
Review: This book touched my heart, as I'm sure it did many others. It shows love, loyalty, passion and pain, as well as integrity in the face of tragedy. It delves deep into the characters minds as much as it makes us laugh and cry. It is definitely a 'don't put down until it's finished' book, and should be read by all Steel's fans.
