Summary: wonderful book to curl up with
Review: I really and truly enjoyed this book. It made me laugh and it certainly made me cry. I loved the dog Jelly and I loved the way the author portrayed the friendship between Jessie and Sophie. It makes you want to have a friend like that. Can't wait for the next new book. Maija Farrell

Summary: I didn't want this book to end.
Review: The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that it ended. I have to agree with Fern's other fans that I feel a sequel coming on here. The book left me feeling that there was so much more to be said. Once again Fern - you outdid yourself.

Summary: Wonderful Fern Michaels. Great Story. Disappointing epilogue
Review: I just got through reading Fenders Keepers. Was so disappointed in the epilogue. You would think Jessie would want and need to have her child have a warm family atmosphere, and be close to her new found "real family", but she goes traipsing off to fulfill Sophies dream. What about her child? Tanner messed up and don't think he deserved anything given to him by Jessie. He was a grown man, who made his bed, Sorry that Luke wasn't in the picture. They made a good couple.

Summary: Classic Fern Michaels !!!!
Review: This is one of those forget the laundry, the dishes and the housework books. The storyline keeps you intrigued from start to finish.

Summary: Definately different
Review: This is the first Fern Michaels book I have read. I couldn't wait for next thing to happen. All I can say is it was a terrific read all the way through. DON'T CHEAT and read the end first. It would ruin the whole book. I loved it and so did my mom. I work in a library and am recommending it to many of our patrons. So far everyone that has read it, has enjoyed it. It made me want to read more of her books.

Summary: Super, Would like to see a sequel
Review: I have read many of Fern Michaels books and have not been able to put any down until they were finished. The Texas triolgy was superb if fact I have enjoyed all of her trilogies, I would like to see one on Finders Keepers there were some questions that keep you guessing.

Summary: First Cass Read!
Review: I think this is one of the best books Fern Michaels has ever written. All the characters were right on. Just like people you meet in everyday life. Fast paced and never dull. Real good ending. Surprised me. Loved this book.

Summary: The conversations between the characters were trite.
Review: I have read several of Ms. Michaels books; although not over the past couple of years. This book was disappointing and somewhat unbeliveable. The main character's friend was the 3rd richest person in the world ; her husband left her alone even after finding out she was pregnant; her adopted parents got away from prosecution; she found her real parents; she leaves everyone behind to build a bridge. Sure!

Summary: Would have given this book 5 stars if not for the ending ..
Review: This was the first F. Michaels book I've read, and although I'm clearly in the minority, the ending spoiled the story for me. Jessie was so clearly on track....discovering who she was and what she needed. I just could not believe she would be encouraging an abuser back into her life. What is the message here, if an abuser is contrite all is well....she tore up Sophie's check to her abuser and then gave her own even more...if this is growth I just didn't get it.

Summary: A story you won't be able to put down until you finish the l
Review: I have always loved Fern Michaels books but found this one particularly engrossing. I had a hard time putting it down until the last page and was disappointed when it ended. I'd like to see this book be the start of another series with several generations after Jessie gets to know her family and has her baby. Fern Michaels has the ability to create a story you can get lost in. Every person would envy a friend like Sophie loyal to the very end. I am already anticipating her Fern Michaels next novel.
