Summary: worst book ever!!
Review: I unfortunately checked this book out at my local library hoping that I could enjoy different authors. I must say I am never reading another book from this author ever. This book is one of the worst books I have ever read. I don't know if it was just the copy I had but first off there were a lot of misspelled words which was very frustrating. The storyline was extremely flat. I kept waiting for things to get better but they didn't. Also, I don't feel this book portrays Southern women at all, the characters were not well developed. All in all this book was bad!!

Summary: Not my cup of tea
Review: My mother really likes this author, for me this story just did not satisfy my tastes. I felt like the characters were to one sided without much meaning to them. They kind of felt sterotyped. If you want to really see characters in the south, that have alot of depth check out the movie Sordid Lives. The story did hold some suspense and some good sexual energy but the content would sometimes dip into areas where it didn't feel good. Now that would be okay but nothing seemed to get resolved or actually things that were dysfunctional, were not made apparent to the reader. It just was not my cup of tea, but my mom loved it. So I guess it just depends on the reader.
