Summary: Too many sub plots, no development
Review: I felt as though this book was written in the manner of someone who talks too fast and had to meet a deadline so just added many ideas that really deserved their own story. Paragraphs had more than one subject and left me feeling as though I had missed reading something that would pull it all together. This is the first book by this author that I have read and I doubt that I will read any of her other works.

Summary: A definite must read!!
Review: This was one book I could not put down. It is hard to imagine one family having to go through so much. How they go through it and survive and make the best of the situation makes you all the more grateful for what you have.

Summary: Another fantastic read by the fantastic Fern!
Review: Celebration is a wonderful story of a woman's life, her many betrayals and how she overcomes them. Women from all walks of life will sympathize with Kristine for there are many women today whose lives are a reflection of the fiction Ms. Michaels' creates. One of her best!!!

Summary: Teriffic read!
Review: Celebration is one of those books that come along once in a while. The kind that you can't wait to get back to. I found it to be exceptional. I liked the interaction between the family members. It rang true. All the characters came to life between the pages. I loved some and hated others. When a writer attacks your emotions you know he/she has done his/her job. The ending blew me away. Very good book. EM

Summary: great characterazation of animals & people
Review: Celebration is a story you do not want to put down. The plot is not easy to figure out so you just keep reading & never get bored. The animals in the story just make the book & you fall in love with them. The celebration in the story is a wonderful feeling of things being done right to correct mistakes made by our ancestors long ago & gave me a gooooood feeling. It is just a good book !!!!!!!! Fern Michaels has a unique way of telling her stories & I never want her books to end. I always read them slowly ,so that I don't miss a word or thought. Susan Manning

Summary: Intriguing but no Texas or Vegas
Review: Fern Michaels provides an intriguing story line that demonstrates why her books always land on all the best-selling lists (see "Vegas" trilogy and "Texas" trilogy). However, before readers think that Ms. Michaels' latest novel is a cause for CELEBRATION, they need to realize that the pathetic Kristine garners no empathy. Besides playing the fool, she chose to ignore or pretend the physical abuse suffered by her children. This trait would engage readers if the story line centered on a psychological look into her denial. However, used in the context of a contemporary romance, this leaves the audience disconcerted and a bit put off by her. Still, the Michaels' touch is prevalent with the secondary players and the powerful plot.

Summary: Simply great
Review: This book is a must read!!!! Kristine Kelly's weaknesses and finding her inner strength makes for a wonderful story that could be believed.Even the way her children behaved when the shock of what their father did was so real. One has to wonder how many wives have gone through situations like this or have stayed in abusive marriages. Cried when the off-spring began to realize how wronged their mother had been and loved when they expressed their wishes for "dear old dad". To me the ending was perfect. I know I will read it again before too long.

Summary: Absolutely wonderful book! A must read.
Review: Just finished Fern Michael's Celebration and this book was superb. The character grew so much in this book. Know a lot of women could understand where she was coming from. Loved how she ended it. This is a must have book.

Summary: Definitely a page turner
Review: Lucky me, I was in the bookstore when they were putting the books out. Snatched it right up and read all night long. Absolutely top notch. I hated Logan, loved Woodie and adored Kristine.Talk about full bodied characters. These were like people I know. Great story, kept me on edge and absolutely loved, just loved, can't tell you how I loved the ending. Perfecto!!!! Candy Mc Guire
