Rating: Summary: Fern Michales brings the reader into the story Review: Fern Michaels allows the reader to develop a relationship with the characters. I felt like I was an insider instead of an intruder as I read "Celebration." This quality is rare in today's authors. In fact, Fern Michaels and Aaron Becker are the only authors I can think of who write with this style. Both Celebration, and Becker's new novel "Whose Death in the Tunnel?" are must reads.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Book Review: This was an awesome book. I loved it
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book. Review: This is the second best book I've ever read. The first was Finders Keepers written by the same author. I adored this book.
Rating: Summary: A page turner of a book Review: I enjoyed this book tremendously but then I enjoy all of this author's works. The story swept me up from page one. I enjoyed seeing Kristine create a new life out of chaos. She was weak in the beginning because she had the misfortune to love a scoundrel but in the end she was her own woman. I rooted for her every step of the way.June Akens
Rating: Summary: first time reader of Fern Michaels - hated it! Review: I agree with the reader who called this book "sophomoric garbage." How can anyone with a modicum of good sense and intelligence enjoy this drivel. The dialogue is simplistic, the characters totally one dimensional, the plot insipid. Who could care about this stupid woman? She married the kind of man she deserved and her children justifiably deserted her. I was sorely tempted to desert her too, but, out of fairness to the author, forced myself to finish the story. That was a mistake. Totally unbelievable. By the way, did anyone else notice that on page 83 her name is spelled "Christine" by mistake in the middle of the page. That sort of thing drives me crazy. Did no one even read this book before it was published? Can't blame 'em.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Read! Review: I truly, truly loved this story. I can't wait for your next one. I've been a fan for over twenty years. Each book just gets better and better. Thanks for another wonderful read! Donna Luellen
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Delightful! Review: I truly enjoyed this book and read it in two sittings. I liked the way Kristine grew and matured into the woman she was at the end of the book. I disliked Logan the minute I read his name. We all know selfish, self-centered people like him. Woody was the perfect mate for Kristine. I liked his humor and his gentleness when dealing with Kristine and all her problems. All around, it was a super read. Can't wait for the next one.
Rating: Summary: YUK Review: I must admit I haven't finished this book (listening to the audio version) but I already know I hate it. This sap of an immature women seems to spend all of her life sobbing her eyes out, passive aggressive in the extreme. The story line was incredulous. For example, she starts a dog business and can afford a full time veterinarian, what the heck is she running some kind of super puppy mill. Her children leave in a huff, she has no contact for three years when she shows up at their college graduation and all of a sudden she mom of the year. What a roll model for motherhood. What a pile of sophmoric garbage.
Rating: Summary: A Pure Pleasure To Read! Review: Way to go, Fern! They just keep getting better and better. Don't ever stop writing. I loved this book! Connie Estrin
Rating: Summary: This is the best of the best! Review: This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. My local librarian recommened it to me. She wasn't wrong.
