Summary: I'm glad I don't have a twin!
Review: After reading this book, I'm so glad there is only one of "me".
This is a novel that keeps you reading...surprises & all.
You love to hate some of the characters. If you have a long weekend or extra time, pick it up, you won't be able to put it down

Summary: A sister's love can never be broken
Review: I don't understad why this book didn't get 5 stars when i read this book i had a warm comfortable feeling when i was finished. it starts out of two twin sisters who's love can never be broken two sisters that looked totally alike the only difference is a small frekle on their hands. when they get older the bad one shall i say Victoria get's into a lot of trouble and has to marry a man whom she doesn't love but her sister does. later Victoria decides to leave the country so her sister has to step into Victoria's shoes so her husband will not notice, that's when things get really interesting and olivia finds that there is no way that she can leave her sister's husband because she loves him to much! Little did she know he loved her to and not Victoria! I do recommend this though

Summary: Love for Sisters
Review: For the Henderson sisters their bond was like no other, they were twins and no one could tell them apart, even their father got them confused. Vitoria was the wild child who loved to partisipate in suffrage movements, she never liked to stay in one place. Olivia was the more serious of the two the only thing she lived for was making others happy, she stayed at her father's estate. Olivia longed for her sister's husband while Victoria wanted out of the marriage. So they did something everyone would have never thought, switched places. "I'm leaving" pg.326 was one of the most important quotes in the book. This qoute is said by Victoria when she decides she can't live in a loveless marriage anymore. When she says this you know she means business and there is nothing that can change her mind. This is the foundation for the reason that they switch places. This is a romance book and it rates one of the best I have ever read. Even though i haven't read many this book wants me to read more. If you like history, because it deals some what with it, and romance then this is the book for you. If you don't like to brush up on your history then it isn't a book good for you. I must say that if it wasn't for the romance I wouldn't have read the whole book. If this is how Danielle Steel writes all of her books, I would suggest reading them all.

Summary: Imagine having the opportunity to switch lives....
Review: with someone else. Well, that is possible for the twins in this story. Set in the time of WWI, two sisters change their lives and learn, not only about their sister, but about themselves. The wild, outgoing, daring sister compared to the settled, at-home, calm sister learn the differences in life. It was one of the better Steel books that I have read.

Summary: For Love and Family
Review: I have only experienced three (going on 4) of Danielle Steel books. Any fan would know it's hard to choose a favorite... but "Mirror Image", I can say, left a smile on my face and a lasting impression. If you're big into family and the ties that bind siblings but you're also a hopeless romantic (like myself), then you'll simply LOVE this book. A thought provoking, heart-warming and heart-aching book, "Mirror Image" will teach you the power of love siblings can have for one another and the power of Love in general. If you have brothers or sisters... you can relate. If you have none... you'll learn the power... the eternal power... of the love siblings can share for one another as well as learn the healing power of Love. This was a breathtaking book... and well worth the read. Even the abridged version leaves an impression.

Summary: Good story, bad writing!
Review: I give Mirror Image four stars because I truly enjoyed the story. It was one of those books that I just wanted to keep reading, no matter what else was going on around me. Steel did a fairly good job of keeping the reader guessing as to how and when certain characters would find out certain things. And unlike some other readers, I found both Olivia and Victoria enjoyable characters. Try to remember, folks, that this story was not taking place in the 21st century. You have to put a character's actions and attitudes into perspective!

Steel's writing, however, was terrible. Not only did she repeat whole sentences and ideas, even her individual word choice tended to be redundant. She over-uses the word "but," and in places we've all been taught not to (the beginnings of sentences, maybe?). She also needs to watch her use of and lack of commas. A book by an author this well-known really should be edited better!!

If you can get past the grammatical errors, a good "beach book" or way to spend a weekend!

Summary: Mirror Image
Review: This was a fast read, as many of Danielle Steels books are. This book was about two sisters that had completly different out looks on life, but look identical "Mirror Image", as the book states numersous times. The sisters played harmless tircks on friends and family because no-one could tell them apart but a maid. But as they got older Victoria found a love that could ruin the family name and her father forced her to marry a man with a good name and forced her to forget about her trouble relation ship. Victoria tried as hard as she could to love the man her father demanded her to marry. Well Victoria asks her sister Olivia to take her place in her marriage so she can go off and support womans rights... little did Victoria know that Olivia secretly had feelings for Charles. And now I will let you learn the rest for yourself.

The book all in all was great. I didn't like the way they kept reminding you that the two girls were identical but had very, very differnt opinions on life. It was as if they didn't bring it up every chapter we might forget. I would definitally recommend this book.

Summary: Danielle Steel's Perfection
Review: This book reminds me of a wonderfully crafted symphony. It had a great blend of adventure, romance, lust, love lost, new beginnings, regret and want. I read it in eight hours, I couldn't put it down. The characters were developed to perfection, and while some things were quite cliche, like of course Victoria was on the Lusitania, the story was original. It described the myseterious relationship between twins perfectly and it was just an amamzing book.
