Summary: Wonderful!!!!
Review: I can't remember the last time a book made me cry like that. I loved the book. It really would make a good tissue watching movie. Hope they do I would definately go see it!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great story; beware the ending.
Review: I was undecided as to whether or not I should read this book, not being sure if I was prepared for anything but a "happy ending." But the author is a favorite so I took a chance. Am I sorry? Well, yes and no. The plot and characters were excellent and I quickly became absorbed in their lives. And, like Tom and Bree, I began to believe that everything would work out just fine. So, I was rather blindsided by the ending. (Cried for 2 hours.) I would be interested to know if this story was prompted by some special experience in Ms. Delinsky's life. No matter what, the book did make me think and reflect and ponder, which is a fine thing for an author to cause.

Summary: Not a 10
Review: I started to read everyone's reviews while still in progress of reading "Three Wishes". I stopped because I didn't want to read what happend. However, every review I read gave the book a 10. At that point I certainly didn't rate it a 10. I have finished the book now. I am rating it a 5 which is being a bit generous. Someone else rating the book a 1; I wouldn't go that far. That person stated the book was boring. I would agree with that. The best part of the book was her death. I am not saying that to be "funny". Her death made the scene of the bright light and wishes more real.

Summary: The only book that has EVER made me cry
Review: I am an avid reader. I can easily finish a novel a day. I have never cried reading a book. That is until I read "Three Wishes". You feel so in-touch with the characters Bree and Tom. You feel their sorry, their happiness, and their frustrations. A MUST to read if you do not like the normal, sappy romances. I couldn't put it down!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A wonderful heartwarming tear jerker. I LOVED it.
Review: I can't remember the last romance that made me cry like this one. It was wonderful. So much love between Tom and Bree and how Bree expressed her unfailing love to Tom. The book is being passed around the neighborhood and we are all loving it and crying as we wonder what we would do in Bree's place. Powerful emotion. I cannot imagine it ending anyother way - though sad - by three-fouths of the way through it you knew what Bree would do and as much as you didn't want her to make that wish you knew she would - for Tom.

Summary: Excellent story - Perfect book for a rainy afternoon!
Review: I would highly recommend this book. I didn't think the author could out shine "Shades of Grace" but "Three Wishes" is her best book yet. The characters are realistic and invite you into the town and their lives. Though sad, the ending is in perfect balance with the story.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful,another great novel
Review: you wonder what your three wishes would be if you had the chance to wish. I hated the book to end and i cried like a baby. it was one of the best ones i have read, knowing it could not end the way you wanted it to end.I felt so sorry for julia and tom. it was just wonderful, keep up the great work.

Summary: it was great
Review: This was such a good book. it made you wonder what your three wishes would have been. it was about the best book i have read lately. it was so sad that i cried. The Characters were so great and almost make you think you can find that kind of good. this is one you could see youself rereading later on. I really didn't want it to end. I would like to see another to finish this one.

Summary: Not since LOVE STORY has a book moved me so much.
Review: Bree is an unforgettable character, and the love between her and Tom is the love we all dream of. This book had me sobbing so hard that my husband heard me from the other room. I have never been disappointed in a book by Barbara Delinsky and look forward to each new gift she gives us. This book was one of her better stories. Connie

Summary: A great fall read... sentimental and cathartic.
Review: Three Wishes was a lot of fun to read... I don't think I recall such a detailed explanation of the FEELINGS of love that a man and woman have for one another. The plot was a simple one, the character development full and rich. So well did the author explain winters in Vermont that I could almost smell the fireplace burning!!I actually cried at the end of this book, and I don't cry easily at novels. The only disappointing factor was that I still am not sure what the big-city lawyer/writer saw in the Vermont small-town girl. His character was deeply developed; hers was not so much.Still, I highly recommend this novel
