Review: This is my second Elinor Lipman book. The first was "Isabel's Bed." I really love the way Ms. Lipman writes. In this book, the romance was so real and so sweet. And even though Bernice could drive a person crazy, Ms. Lipman showed her to be a sympathetic character as well. Everything about the book was first rate--the characters, the descriptions--everything. Ms. Lipman, you're two for two in my book so far. Now, on to "The Way Men Act."

Review: When you are looking for the perfect beach book, this is THE one to pick. Lipman's style is light, funny, touching. The plot is clever and the romance is one of the few written about why that nerdy couple looks so darn happy.
