Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very dynamic
Review: Practical Magic was my 1st Alice Hoffman experience and Here on Earth is the 3rd. I always enjoy her, however wish that she would not use the F*** word so much. It was a chilling story and one that I couldn't put down. Hoping for a new Alice Hoffman book soon.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Entertaining
Review: It's by far the most interesting book in the Oprah book Club I've come across, so interesting that I've read it around 4 times!!! extremely creative and finely detailed.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thought provoking &plausable
Review: I have enjoyed all of her books. While I still think that Seventh Heaven was her best this was a close second. Knowing how our emotions can work to cover up anything the theme of this book is plausable.

Summary: A Page-Turner
Review: Why is it that most people read this book in no more than two sittings? Myself, I read it in one. Problem is, after staying up so late reading, the thrilling and chilling end left me too wound up and frightened to sleep.

Summary: G R E A T T O R E A D
Review: This was my first time reading Hoffman. I will be back for more! Excellent!

Summary: 1 star means you haven't read the book
Review: Just think, how could a book even get published if it really did deserve 1 star? Anyways...

The nice thing about this book is that it rips away from a conventional and above all S A F E plot creating a mean grotesque character many people, and readers hate. Name just one other book that got you fumed just because of a character. How great is the power of Hollis/Heathcliff?

Summary: It is the most AMAZING book of all time :)
Review: I have read all of Alice Hoffman's novels and they get better and better ;) Most think it is odd that i love her books so much becasue i'm 15 but i love them.

Summary: Long Rollar Coaster RIDE
Review: The greatest emotional ride of all her books. This one really made me laugh, cry, and fume with anger. I loved it. The spin with the characters were fun-loving, serious, and somewhat real. The pets were given life as one speaks through their own. A real find in this one!

Summary: Carpe Diem Hollis
Review: Great to read at home, snuggled into your thick comforter with some hot chocolate. This is NOT a book you can enjoy just reading at the bus stop or the doctor's office. You have to eat in every single drop of word and letter to understand why Hollis is the was he is...and why he turned out that way. Ah, love is such sweet sorrow.

Summary: Long Times Come
Review: Surely this has to rate as one of Alice's best books ever. It's the only one to make me feel pain in my heart. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and can recommend it to anyone who's got the time to read it from cover to cover without putting it down - so make sure you've got the time! .
