Summary: So True to Life!
Review: Anyone who had recently gotten married or is planning on getting married soon should read this book for a good laugh. The events chronicled by Sarah in this book ring so true to life. For those who have gotten married, you'll get a good laugh out of how some of these same things happened to you. And for those who are planning the big day, it's nice to know that you're not alone and you will be able to relate to the main character. This book puts a funny spin on real life wedding planning events. I highly recommend this book to all women who are married or hope to be married someday...and ESPECIALLY to bridesmaids-to-be who haven't been married yet - so that way you can get a glimpse of what the bride-to-be is going through so you can be more understanding and help her keep it together until the wedding day.

Summary: All too true
Review: THis is a fabulous book for anyone who is recently engaged, who has ever been married, or has been part of a wedding. I laughed until I cried....these types of things really do happen...even to normal, organized, type A people...

Summary: Good reading!!!!
Review: I read this book after I planned my wedding. I can totally relate to what Amy was going through! It was such a funny book! Hopefully Laura Wolf will write something else. I would love to read more books by her! If you don't have it get this book! It's too funny and to good not to! I'm giving it to anyone I know who get's engaged!!!

Summary: an excellent gag gift for any bride-to-be
Review: The author did a remarkable job in desribing the many crazy thoughts and actions of a bride-to-be. As someone who was married about a year ago, this book not only provided me many reasons to laugh, but also chances to remember the endless hilarious moments I went through during wedding planning!

Summary: Funny AND True
Review: This is one of the funniest books I have read. I too read it when I was planning my wedding and I could completely relate to the bride. I developed strange obsessions and a weird wedding tunnel vision. I guess it might seem shallow - but hey, it's a wedding, spending a house deposit on a party and white dress is shallow (but somehow worth it proving all weddings are insane)! I now buy this book for everyone I know who becomes engaged.

Summary: Great light reading
Review: OK, War & Peace it ain't but it's funny, light reading. And, oh, so true!! If one has unlimited bucks and unlimited time planning a wedding is easy--if you don't, like me, then you'll relate to this story! I remodeled my divorced sister's wedding dress and laughed out loud when I read about Amy doing the same for her mom's wedding dress.

Summary: Shallow
Review: Sorry girls, I just couldn't get past how shallow this chick is. I guess, six-months post-wedding myself, I realize that the wedding was a beautiful event but I'm glad it's over so we could get to the good stuff.

Summary: Funny from all angles!
Review: I started out as the last single friend (I was a bridesmaid 9 times by age 25!); Luckily, I met the man of my dreams and became "the Bride". In the middle there somewhere I became a wedding consultant. If it has to do with weddings I been on all sides. I found this book hillarious! I read it in two days (And I have a 10 month old to chase around!) I love the way Amy trys to stay within her "scrawny" budget only to find out that the wedding industry is not cooperating. I also love the Kate angle...the overworked assistant who finally draws the line.
I would reccomend this book to anyone, single, married, bride, bridesmaid, mother, sister, professional.

Summary: Great Read for Current, Former and [soon to be] Brides
Review: -And those who who want to keep loving them... Hilarious book about that girl we all know who will "never get married" yet finds herself on that trek down the aisle...Amy's diary hits on so many of the same things all of us brides go through on some level - from being the perfectly in control bride to degenerating into the "Wedding Madness." New brides should read it as a warning, former brides should read it as a good laugh at what was and friends and families of brides should read it for insight!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fun
Review: This book about a slightly hysterical and uptight bride was written in the format of Bridget Jones's Diary, with aspects of Confessions of a Shopohalic thrown in. Her style is very upbeat and fast, with funny complaints and jokes and comes across as clever and sweet.
