Summary: Good book!!!
Review: This was my first time reading Maeve Binchy's work. The book was one that I could put down and simply read at my leisure. I enjoyed reading Tara Road; however, there are so many characters, it is very important to read carefully and follow the storyline of each. I would not recommend purchasing Tara Road in hardcover, but paperback would suffice.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Wonderful Read!
Review: This was my first Maeve Binchy novel, and I can't wait to read the rest! One suggestion to new readers - ignore the summary on the jacket. It gives away too much!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I loved it and read it in 2 days, even though it was huge.
Review: I couldn't put it down. I found it very true to life in the way their marriage evolved.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Nor Worth Hardcover Price
Review: Generally a fairly interesting book with characters you care about, some. Probably worth a beach read, but only if bought in paperback.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Should Be On the "Sale" Table
Review: Not worth the cost of the book. The idea of two women switching houses was good, but the charaters were weak. The cover sounded better than the book was. The character's lacked the courage to be honest with each other.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Semi entertaining.
Review: I had hoped for a better read. I enjoyed the first few chapters and thought that I might be reading a good book, only to find that it was more of the same repititous story throughout every chapter. There was a lot written about nothing. I thought it was a watered down plot and I was very dissappointed in the end. I expected more from this author based what I have heard about her previous books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A lovely read with recognizable characters.
Review: Maeve Binchy's grasp of the human condition and the communities of people who touch and interact in each others' lives as well as her novelist's ability to place her plots and characters in very commonplace and recognizable situations make Tara Road a delightful story of people who love and care about, as well as betray and disappoint each other.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Tara Road-a story so rich, it has to be fattening!
Review: Tara Road is a fictional place come alive with delicious characters, events, locales, plot twists and turns and surprises galore. It's a virtual feast, a literary binge, a satisfying meal of storytelling concocted by an author who has turned me into a compulsive reader of her works - and I'm happy to admit to it. If you want a diet of pure pleasure and enjoyability, read this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Entertaining and thought provoking
Review: I love all of Maeve Binchy's books. My mother and I read each and everyone that comes out. She has a way of drawing you into the story and making you part of the book and its characters so that you don't want it to end. The only reason this one didn't get five stars is that there are a couple of Maeve Binchy's books which are even more superb than this one. In fact, this one should receive 4 and a half stars. I can't wait for the next one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: By far the best one yet!
Review: Each time I read one of Maeve Binchy's book I say the next one just can't get better, but it always does. The characters are well thought out, and the plot always keeps you guessing. Another masterpiece!
