Rating: Summary: Wonderful...Great...Bittersweet... Review: This book was a wonderful love story. The boy getting the girl isn't as easy as it always was. Mr. Sparks has a true talent. Would recomend this to anyone!
Rating: Summary: Read it with a box of kleenexes. Review: Truly, one of the best books I have ever read. Very well written with all the heart anyone could ever hope to read. I could not put it down. It was given to me to read and I passed it on to a friend. I bought my own copy to keep. I absolutely loved this book. It will be hard to pick up another. I just can't find one I want to read now. Keep writing, Nicholas Sparks, I want another book to read. Thank you so much!
Rating: Summary: A wounderful approach to teaching about life's tribulations Review: I thank Nicholas Sparks for having writen such a beautiful book on the trials and tribulations which a couple edures but who's love outweights the darkness of Alztymers. I think that this book is a great work of art for an amature such as Mr. Sparks and I hope that he continues to write much more. He has a talent in story writing.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful! Loved it for the simplicity of its complexity. Review: It seems from the reviews I read, that readers either loved the book or hated it. Personally, I loved it. Yes, it was an easy read and may have been grammatically simplistic but the emotions that Nicolas Sparks evokes is masterful. I felt the plot was unique for love stories and was a refreshing change of pace from the "heat of the moment" love stories on the market. If you are not a true romantic find something else to read.
Rating: Summary: painful, yet beautiful Review: I took this book with me to Mexico last year, and read the whole thing in the span of 3 days! To believe that there is a love out there like that, blows me away! I was crying for days....
Rating: Summary: A touching read! Review: A great book!! I couldn't put it down! Not a boring or bland moment. I think that this book shows how love and relationships have changed over time. I am Anxiously awaiting for Mr. Sparks next book.
Rating: Summary: This is a incredibly passionate and romantic novel. Review: This novel was awesome! It demonstrates how true love and devotion should be. I've never read of a couple more romantic and passionate. It creates a fantasy of how I would like my love life to follow in the same steps. My bestfriends have passed this book on to each other until it circulated between all eight of us. It's absolutely heart captivating! Mr. Sparks is a sensational writer.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful love story for all ages... Review: I read this book on the plane on my way to Phoenix and finished on the plane returning home. Sparks made me smile and cry. His book is perfect reading for a time when marriage and love seems unimportant in people's lives. I loved this book and love Nicholas Sparks for writing a book like this and "Message In A Bottle". He's a unique writer and I'm really looking forward to "A Walk To Remember". I'm definitely one of his groupies!!
Rating: Summary: A Romance for the Romantics Review: The critics may not consider it a literary masterpiece, but even Shakespeare wouldn't live to see his greatest glory. To me, The Notebook is a reminder of how pure and sweet love is. Sparks may not use the most profound words to describe it, but he doesn't have to. Love speaks for itself. I suggest this book to anyone who can look at his or her love and say that he/she loves them more than the day they met them. Or for those who do not know the feeling, here is a great place to find it.
Rating: Summary: An Insult To Those of Us Coping With Alzheimers Review: It was a waste of 3 hours when I could have read something of substance. The author writes like a grade school student with simple sentences and unreasonable leaps int the passages of time. He knows nothing about Alzheimers...What was the point of this book?
