Summary: Ghost was a breathless, intriguing, romantic story.
Review: The tale was perfectly executed. My boyfriend and I listened to the entire book on tape. We couldn't stop it. I was totally transcended into the two worlds Danielle created. I could relate with all the characters and couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I didn't want the story to end. I wish Danielle could write an extension to this beautiful tale. A definite must buy!!!!!

Summary: Egad, what bad writing!
Review: She can tell a good story, but she's writing too fast. Third person voice? Passive verbs? Past tense from start to finish and ALWAYS inside the guy's head. However, I didn't really get disgusted until I read, "...homespun wooden cradle.." What? Homespun is fabric -- what idiot editor let that one slip through? Because of this error and other really dumb actions, like driving a coach through a dark night on frontier dirt roads makes it obvious that neither she nor her editors know anything about the era. And, it would seem they don't really care about their reader's intelligence either.

Summary: Very captivating.
Review: I really enjoyed the book. It was a shocker. You never know what is going to happen next. Keeps you in suspense. I couldn't put it down.

Summary: it was easy to read, and a page turner.
Review: I felt that even though I was reading about two different times, they did come together well. I really enjoyed the book, I have given the book to my friends and they also feel its one of her better books. Every thing is clear, and easy to understand.

Summary: But I don't like romances!
Review: A lady at work handed me the book-on- tape and I only listened to it because I hadn't any new ones to listen too. To say that I was hooked was an understatement. The story simply works. Don't try to read to much into it. Don't try to analyze it. Simply enjoy it.

I have to agree that the title is misleading. There is no real interaction between our main living and dead characters. It would probably have been better to make these two separate stories. Regardless, the story works! I'm still not a romance fan but this was a pleasant dip into that pool.

Summary: The best Love story I have read in a very long time!!!
Review: The Ghost is one of those Love stories, you just can`t put down. One becomes lost in the story and you are so moved by emotion that you can`t wipe the tears away quickly enought. Life teaches this main charater every emotion and how she handles her ordeals keeps you wanting to turn to the next page. I could`nt put this book down for hours on end, and look forward to reading more of Danielle Steel`s works.

Summary: Nice love story
Review: I have to say this book really had ups and downs. When I finshed this I wasnt sure how I felt except I wish the book would have been written from Sara's point of view. I wanted more interaction between Sara and Charlie. Also, I was hoping somehow Sara and Gladys were related. I fell in love with Sara's love story. I must admit I didnt find this a great book like so many of DS others but once Charlie got stranded at Gladys house it became much more interesting. There also should have been more of a relationship earlier on with Francesca and Charlie and take out the whole ex-wife information. I say read it but don't expect a typical DS book. Once the book got to Sara's story I couldnt put it down.

Summary: For once it's not predictable
Review: As an avid reader of Ms. Steele, The Ghost really gets you involved with the characters. Weaving in and out of two peoples lives in two different time periods makes it interesting and makes you wonder how will it really end. Almost all of Ms. Steel's books are predictable. With this one you can't be too sure. Does keep you guessing, until you reach about 3/4 into the book.

Summary: Mystifying !! Daring you not to put it down!
Review: I liked the way that Danielle Steel wrote this book. Like Charlie, I felt close to Sarah and Francois. I felt almost as if I was in the book and felt what Sarah felt. It was a real descriptive book! I was really impressed with the way she wrote this book. It caught my interest and never once did I consider putting it down. I really recomend this book to any romance reader or Danielle Steel fan.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Romance and Love transend the milleniums of time.
