Summary: Great by combining the past and present
Review: I really liked the way Danielle Steel combined Sarah's life with Charlie's. People said that there was no relation or bond between the two characters but I disagree. It was Sarah that urged both Charlie and Fransesca to forget their past and get on with their life. It was a great story and it was good to see that historical facts were also mentioned.

Summary: Best Danielle Steel Yet!
Review: I coldn't put this book down. The interwoven stories of past and present were so intriguing that I found myself wishing I had more time to read. I can't wait to read her next novel.

Summary: Hmm... 7th grade writing all over again?
Review: I did not expect a master piece, but too many of today's popular writers churn out books one after another with little regard for the quality of writing. After vowing never to buy a Danielle Steel book, I was finally swayed by the seemingly intrigueing plot of Ghost. Unfortunately, any hope that this book has any redeeming value was sadly dashed when I realized that this is perhaps a rough draft of a poorly-told story written by a seventh grader, at best. (Just how is it possible that such a famous writer can have so little skill and style?) From what I am told this story has more of a plot than the usual Danielle Steel volume ( -- and I should add that the plot was in fact interesting). But it was utterly butchered by the artless (and tiresome) "then this happened, and then that happened" narration which pays NO attention whatsoever to character or scene development. The reader is ushered from event to event hurrily as if the story-teller is afraid that careful examination of any given aspect of the book would sorely reveal the utter lack of depth -- and finally, even the plot ends unsatisfyingly -- the least one could do for a such a sadly put-together book is to tack on a happy ending.

I would only recommend this book if you are a novelist learning how-not-to-write.

Summary: LOVED IT AND DIDN'T WANT IT IT END
Review: Once again I was not disappointed with a book from Danielle. I picked it up and thought I would be annoyed at the change in story between Charlie's and Sarah's, but found it fascinating reading and didn't want it to end. Can't wait to read the next Danielle Steel novel.

Summary: Great Book from 1st page to last
Review: I really liked the idea of a story within a story. I couldn't put the book down. Loved the characters, especially Sarah. A wonderful love story that made me cry and laugh at the same time. I celebrate a joyous ending of hope and renewel.

Summary: I Wish this book never ended
Review: I loved this book so much, I cried, I laugh, I went back and forth in time. The characters became so real. I felt more love was portrayed between Francois and Sarah then Romeo and Juliet. I wish this book never came to an end FANTASTIC STUFF!!

Summary: GOOD!!!!!!!
Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!! THIS BOOK IS FILLED WITH RICH HISTORICAL DETAILS THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS ACTUALLY THERE IN THE STORE. THE STORY BETWEEN SARAH AND FRANCOIS WAS BREATHTAKING! I WOULD RECAMEND THIS BOOK TO OTHERS!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! :)

Summary: The story of Francois and Sarah was remarkable.
Review: I, like many others, wish the whole book had been about them. What a fascinating plot! The story of Charlie was OK at best, but overall the book was made by Francois and Sarah. It is entertaining reading, with jolts into the past. I enjoy Danielle's books when she includes history. I read some reviews making cracks at mistakes made, and I understand EVERYONE's entitled to their opinion. But remember people, this is fictional romance. If you want clear, precise, exact details - history books are available.

Summary: BRAVO
Review: WHAT A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY WITHIN A LOVE STORY DEFINITELY A MUST READ
