Rating: Summary: If You Love True Romance & Christian Inspirationals This IT! Review: I Am a true fan of Linda Chaikin and have very high respect for her. She has yet again made a terrific romance bloom in less than 2000 pages. The budding relationship between Evy(a sweet and strong young lady) and Rogan (an intreging and fun loving male) is absolutly awesome! I am just dieing for number two! I read it in less than four days (if that tells you anything)! Linda Has SO Much Talent and so much knowledge it makes my admoration grow higher with every book i read, and find myself enjoying. READ READ READ....or, if you can't stand suspence, read when you have # two right next to you so you can keep going!!!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Perfect!!!! Review: I have never rated a book online before beacuse no book has ever compelled me to like this one has. This was my first book to read by Linda Chaikin, but it will not be my last. This book gets your attention on the very first page and never lets you go. You will fall in love with the characters, the plot, everything about it. It has everything: adventure, suspense, mystery and most of all love. I did not want it to end. It is perfect.
Rating: Summary: Good story - bad read Review: I just finisher Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and it was GREAT, a definite 5 star. Tomorrow's Treasure is my first Linda Lee Chaikin book and I'm on page-82 and stuggling terribly. Her writing is not nearly as smooth. I know there is a decent story somewhere in there - if I can just get to it. I gave the 3rd star because it's Christian but I do feel that it may not be worth more than 2.
Rating: Summary: I'd give it ten stars if I could Review: I let this book sit on my shelf for a year before I picked it up. When I started reading it, I could only wonder why I'd let it sit that long. Tomorrow's Treasure has to be one of the best books I've read. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Rating: Summary: Best series since "Lions of The Desert"! Review: The only thing that I am truly disappointed in is that I have to wait a year for the next book! I loved it! Once again, Linda Chaikin has written a spectacular story of intrigue and romance set in late nineteenth century England and South Africa. Hidden from the truth of her parentage, orphaned Evy Varley is introduced to us as a twelve year-old living with her gaurdians in England. A few years her senior and living in a nearby estate, is the perfectly handsome, charming, and rich Rogan Chantry and his family. As circumstance causes Evy to befriend Rogan's sister, we see the romantic dynamic begin between Evy and Rogan, even as youngsters. As they grow older and Rogan delves deeply into his family's fortune and history in the diamond minds of South Africa, he discovers a connection with Evy that traces back to his Uncle Henry Chantry and Evy's true mother. All the while, the mystery of the disappearance of the famed Black Pearl lingers in the atmosphere, creating a spectacular combination of romance and intrigue. This, combined with Ms. Chaikin's amazing historical and exotic settings, makes the book a true winner that you will not want to miss!
Rating: Summary: Oooohhh! I couldn't put it down!! Review: This book is one of the best I have ever read by Linda Chaikin or should I say the best I have ever read, period! I loved the setting of South Africa, of the anguish of the Zulu war in 1879 and how the missionaries serving the Lord were martyered. A decade goes by and we find Evy Varley in Grimston Way, England the niece of the local vicar and the daughter of the missionaries who were martyered. Rogan Chantry is the handsome future squire who lives in a maginficent mansion just down the road from Evy's uncle's rectory. I loved the romantic dynamics between Evy and Rogan as they grow up pursuing their dreams. Rogan, to South Africa to locate the gold mine that his deceased uncle had claimed to find. Evy, to become a music teacher. She was expected to marry the curate's son Derwent Brown but in spite of her logic she finds herself growing more and more fond of the squire's son. Rogan, in delving into his family's past, discovers a link from the mysterious Black Diamond to Evy's mother and his uncle Henry. Her mother is accused of stealing the missing Black Diamond. Evy knows this cannot be true so she sets out to prove Rogan wrong. But what she finds out is not what she expects or hoped for; her aunt and uncle had concealed the truth about her parents and that Rogan had his own reasons to seek the missing diamond. A well-written story of danger, romance, mystery and suspense. For all you Linda Chaikin fans out there, I've learned that the sequel to "Tomorrow's Treasure" is called "Yesterday's Promise" and is scheduled to be released in February 2004!
