Summary: Great Book!
Review: This book is one of my favorites by Fern Michaels...she just keeps getting better!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Read
Review: This book was a sheer delight to read. There was no foul language, no graphic sex going on for page after page and adding nothing to the story at all, just a wonderful heart warming story. The characters seemed so real, especially the three elderly people. What a hoot they were. I also like to see animals in novels and this author always has animals that are so easy to identify with or match up to your own animals. This book kept me turning the pages and I hated to see it end.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not a bad story, just just not enough ooomph at the end.
Review: This is my first Michaels novel, and I bought it due to the storyline. I thought the characters were well drawn out, and I really enjoyed the relationship between Lola and her two compatriots. The big secret that comes out at the end (what Boomer knows) is not a shocker, or at least it wasn't to me. I really wanted the other big secret to become public knowledge. After one character's death, I felt that the other characters should have spoken to the local paper about who killed the bully. Maybe that would have made me feel differently about the ending. I will read other novels by this author, especially with her support of police dogs.

Summary: Boring, unglued and alltogether not worth the price
Review: This is one of the worst novels I've ever read! The characters are not exploited, the plot is scattered all over the place, and the dialogue is SO BORING it was only by sheer willpower that I turned the last page. Cady Johnson appears as a silly introvert heroine that, with only one visit from a designer, changes her looks, her wardrobe and her 20-year long fears and attitudes, and turns out to be witty, adventurous and interesting. If only! Boomer, the wanna-be hero, comes out of nowhere, with a life-long love for Cady that has been hiding in his heart and comes alive after just once glance to her renovated self. Please! Save yourself a lot of deception and skip this one.

Summary: Late Bloomer
Review: This is the first book that I have read from Fern Michaels. I could not put it down!! It is definitely a five star read!! I highly recommend this book without reservation!! It is the first of many I will now be reading from this author!!

Summary: Dull, Predictable, and a Complete Snooze
Review: This is the first Fern Michaels book that I have read and based on all the other reviews I really thought I would enjoy it. Wrong!! This book started out slow and never even got up to a crawl. Perhaps it would have been a bit more exciting if the reader didn't know up front what had happened "that day". I am rather klutzy myself, but I have never seen someone have such a hard time keeping their clothes on as Cady does. The 'old trio' further served to add to the goofiness level of the book, but the ending was beyond ridiculous. True, I could hardly put the book down, but that was primarily so I could get through it and start something much more interesting. This will most likely be the first and last Fern Michaels novel I read.

Summary: Strange. Very Strange
Review: This was without a doubt the weirdest book I have ever read. I assumed this would be a romance but it was more of a mystery as to the details behind a childhood accident involving the main character, Cady, and her childhood friends and enemies. Her grandmother seemed almost like she had multiple personalities and her "friends" were not truly so. The most distrubing part of this book was the death of one of the secondary characters. I truly didn't like any of the characters in this book and finished it wondering why the heck I wasted my time reading it to begin with.

Summary: A slight disappointment
Review: When I picked up this book, I was expecting a little more... after reading the reviews previously posted, I thought it would be stellar. I found that it was too predictable for my liking. I did enjoy the read, but it did not satisfy me in the way I expected. I was a little disappointed.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great story!
Review: While some of the plot lines were a bit predictable, at least to me, I really enjoyed the book. Once I was about a third of the way through, I couldn't put the book down. I too agree that this story would make a fun TV movie.
