Summary: Couldn't Put It Down!
Review: I just finished The Wedding and it was excellent! I couldn't put the book down. I thought the characters were really life like and I found myself almost brought to tears when I found out what Sam and Jimmy had done. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

Summary: Another great book by Danielle Steel
Review: Although this book starts out a little slow it gains speed and stays going the rest of the way. The characters are interesting and they have real life problems. I agree with the other review that this is like one of Danielle Steel's older books. Some people might not like the Hollywood aspect of the book and complain that it's too make believe but isn't that what fiction is all about? To get away from everything? If you've read at least one Danielle Steel book and liked it,I guarantee you'll love this one.

Summary: Steel Is Once Again "Doing Good"
Review: I must have read allof her books. Some have been good, some great, some so so. This one is really GREAT!!. I spent a rainy Sunday reading it from cover to cover and immediately called a friend and told her to buy this one...Steel has outdone herself.

Summary: The Wedding
Review: After the Klone, DS is back and better than ever. This book was thoroughly entertaining, puttting it down was difficult. A real family with real problems. DS has returned to her famous style of writing. A definate must read.

Summary: Finally....one I loved!
Review: Well the last Danielle Steele book I read was several years ago. I believe it was the Ranch. I was so upset with the ending that I said no way would I read another DS book. Well, I read the information on the Wedding and got it two days ago and DEVOURED IT! It's great! It was nice to see how the family all related to each other and how they supported each other. So I'm back! DS is for me again!

Summary: Another Steele winner!
Review: As an avid Danielle Steele fan for almost 2 decades, I have to admit I haven't been crazy about her latest novels over the last few years. The Wedding seemed like one of Steele's older books, which I say as a terrific compliment. Steele has written a heartwarming novel, that seems very true-to-life, although a little sappy. I read this book in three days, as it was very difficult to put down and fully engrossing. For all Danielle Steele love story fans, this is a true winner!

Summary: Same plot, different names.
Review: I quit reading Danielle Steele a long time ago, when her books became too much alike. The last good book I think she wrote was "Crossings". Anyway, I read this one, because I heard it was so-o-o good. I disagree. Once again, we have a "beautiful" woman in a bad relationship, who meets her Prince Charming. It's always, all too perfect. Always beautiful friends, family, lots of money. It was ok for a rainy day. I am just glad I got it from the Library and did not buy it. I miss the Danille Steel of old.

Summary: Much better than her other recent books
Review: After "Irresistible Forces" I vowed not to get another DS book until I read the reviews here first. Well, my husband bought "The Wedding" for me so I read it reluctantly, fearing more of the same. I was glad to find that the story was far more engaging than most of her recent efforts, and in some ways tries to recapture her writing of old. It most closely resembles "Family Album" in tone and theme -- the successful Hollywood family that looks perfect from the outside but has many imperfections within. There are several things in general, however, about DS's writing that I find so irritating as to interfere with my enjoyment of the book -- and I used to LOVE all her books until I started reading Nora Roberts and saw how much better a writer she is (at least in strictly technical terms). DS uses the word "important" no less than 5 times in the first 2 pages to convey to the simple reader that we're dealing with real Hollywood heavyweights here -- OK, we GET IT! Allegra's father, the famous producer, is not accidentally named "Steinberg" (Spielberg, get it?)and her mother's sitcom is not called "Buddies" ("Friends", anyone?) for no reason. I wish sometimes she would be less lazy in her storytelling and rely less on famous names to get her point across. And if I have to read yet again about how beautiful the main character is (in this case Allegra) but how "completely unaware" of it she is, I'll toss the book out the window. That said, the meeting and romance of Allegra and Jeff is one of the best things DS has written in a long time, and she did a fairly good job writing about all the hassles of having a modern-day wedding. She's back on the right track!

Summary: Loved it!
Review: I've been a Steel fan for over 10 years, I've read every single one of her books...and I have to say I am most pleased with The Wedding!

Many of her recent books are missing something, there's no denying that, however, The Wedding has that old spark, it's not missin' a thing!

If you love Danielle Steel, you'll absolutely love this book. It's in a league with some of her earlier works like Star, Changes and Message from Nam. I really enjoyed this book, cover to cover! I'm hoping that she keeps up the great work.

Summary: I just couldn't get into this book
Review: I usually read right before im going to bed, and i just couldnt get into this book, the information was the same and it was all very predictable. Im sure that if i wouldve finished it, then i would have loved it, because i love almost all of danielle steel's books. If you havent read most of them, then your missing out, so stop reading this boring passage, and get into a book of hers.
