Summary: Rochelle Alers in mainstream: Oh happy Day!
Review: Heroine Morgana learns her husband is cheating on her the very day her mother dies. She is unsure of what to do next, but duty says she must go home to bury her mother properly. While down south, she feels enveloped in her mother's love and after the funeral decides to stay a while in order to sort out her thoughts about her husband's infidelity. While living in her mother's house and packing up her mother's things in preparation to sell the house she comes across her mother's hidden diaries. One revelation after another rocks Morgana's world. Her mother, her father, nor her favorite uncle are who she believed them to be! Plus, she's met a local teacher/artist who has awakened passions in her she thought were reserved for her husband. Read this novel. It will make you think twice before embarking on an affair. The consequences can be devastating. Great job, Ms. Alers.

Summary: She's Done It Again!!!
Review: I enjoyed this story from start to finish, as I have all of the others stories written by Rochelle. I couldn't put this book down! I found myself waking up in the wee hours of the morning BEFORE the alarm would go off just to connect again with Katherine on her quest to find herself after experiencing the loss her Mom and Marriage on the same evening and proving that most times you "HAVE TO" LOSE in order to GAIN. I could relate with EVERY Joy, Hurt and Triumph. I expected her to admit to her Uncle Julian after reading her Mother's journals that she knew who he really was to her. She had the Perfect blend of characters to take this book to many levels of suspence and surprise. Rochelle is one of my favorite writers and I would like to take this time to Thank and encourage her to keep up the "GOOD" work. I can't wait for the next book, but what choice do I have?

Summary: A good read
Review: I liked this book. You had to keep up with the retrospect parts of it, but I liked the way it was written. The story ended in an unexpected way, but overall, I think Ms. Alers did a good job. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Summary: I Loved This Book!
Review: I loved this story. Secrets Never Told is one of the most wonderful stories that I have ever read. It's filled with intriguing characters that are so real, they walk right off the page and into your heart. You can't forget them.

The plot flowed in a unique and exciting manner that kept me turning the pages. And then I was always greeted with a surprise or twist. Reading this outstanding novel is like watching a movie. You can't wait to see what happens next.

Morgana was an unforgettable heroine, as was her mother, Katherine. I feel like I know them both so well. Uncle Julian stole my heart, too, reminding me of one of my uncles. If you want to read a GOOD book, read this one by the super-talented, Rochelle Alers!

Summary: Excellent Novel
Review: I read this book in two days. I was captured from the first page. I love reading about successful black people because we really do exist not only in novels, but in real life. Morgana was very strong when her dead mother's (Katherine) secret was revealed and I really respect her for letting the secret go to her grave. I thought Uncle Julian was a loving character and strong. I see why he's so well respected. This story is very real and will make you cry before you know it. Cudos to Uncle Julian. Ms. Alers have yet to release a book that I didn't like.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I simply loved this book, classic Alers. Morgana's world is tilted in one day, making her realize that all is not perfect in her world. The death of her mother takes her to her childhood home where she works through problems in her marriage and discovers through her mother's journals, what type of life she really lived. Morgana finds the strength to look beyond the surface and rediscovers who she really is and who her mother was. Bravo Ms. Alers, this is a must read, that should be read at least twice. Get the tissue
