Rating: Summary: Great Life Lessons Review: Venus is the main character and she has just ended a long-term relationship with Clint. Although she supported him while he attended medical school, he wouldn't commit to marriage. This time she's close to marriage, engaged for two years to a successful businessman, Airic, a divorced father of two adult daughters. But she's plagued by a continuing dream of being left at the altar by Clint. Venus is all set to have what she's always wanted--the perfect job and a perfect marriage--until the job takes her to across the country and leads her heart into a different direction.I had never read a book by this author, and I enjoyed the personality of the main character. She was aggressive, very professional and appeared to have everything together. This book taught me that sometimes even the best plans are well formulated but as many times the case, life throws a wrench in our plans and we have to deal with it. The book had great realistic drama and I felt myself being compassionate for the main character and the issue she had to deal with in her family. This was a quick read for me and I would recommend this book to a recent college graduate fresh in the working world. There are some great life lessons in this book.
