Summary: Ý like it very much.
Review: when i bought this book i thought that i woudnt like it much. Then started to read the book and i love it.Especially the massage in a bottle that Theresa found, is very very interesting. Now i think that a man may love a woman like this ??? Are there any love stories like this?????

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An emotional journey that will keep you coming back for more
Review: Message in a Bottle is a heartwrenching novel that kept me turning the pages until the very end. The love that Garret and Theresa shared was extraordinary. It was positively gripping, with such an unexpected twist. The story was well thought, and the writing superb. I am sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for Nicholas Sparks' next novel.

Summary: Some of the most manipulative dreck I've read in a long time
Review: History repeats itself with this one. Robert James Waller's precipitous decline after Bridges of Madison County has now been equalled or surpassed with this next book of Nicholas Sparks. Perhaps if it were marketed as a Romance title, it would keep the unsuspecting lover of good fiction from mistakenly picking it up. Cliches abound, the dialogue limps...I felt used.

Summary: THE BEST BOOK THAT I HAVE EVER READ!
Review: This is the best book that I have ever read! It has a great story line and great characters.

I first bought this book after seeing ads for the movie. Since the movie looked good, I thought that the book would be, too. I was right.

This book is better than Nicholas Sparks first book, THE NOTEBOOK. The characters actually care about each other, and the book is unlike any I've ever read before.

If anyone is in the mood for a GREAT book, I suggest that you read this one!

Summary: A Total Letdown!
Review: After having read THE NOTEBOOK, I could not wait to read Nicholas Sparks' next novel. I had insisted that my rather cynical husband read THE NOTEBOOK. I felt that, after 30 years of marriage, we could both relate to this tale of surviving love. He enjoyed it also. Now, I hope that he does not begin to read MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE. I don't want him to realize that I could read such an empty, trite, predictable book! Also, when I began the book, I could not see Kevin Costner playing the romantic thirty something lead. As I read on, it was easy to imagine him, with his pablum like delivery, saying these lines. Note to Mr. Sparks - Chatham is Not on Cape Cod Bay. It is on the opposite side of the Cape on Nantucket Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

Summary: slow to begin, but a tremendous and heart renching ending
Review: I almost put this book down when I was half way through it. I continued however, and it ended up being a page turner. I would say it is THE sadest book I've ever read. I cried for the last 20 pages or so.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Makes you want fall in love all over again
Review: This book was wonderful and I never wanted to put it down. It made you believe that true destiny and true love really does exsist.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: What a waste of time
Review: This was obviously written as a screen play first and then Sparks tried to make it into a novel. He failed. He cannot write dialogue to save his soul and the whole story line is such a cliche! I think this is one case where I may actually like the movie better than the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An inspirational love story!! Two thumbs up!!!
Review: Message in a bottle is by far one of the best books i have read. The story line kept me enthralled and it only took me two days to finish it. A love like Theresa and Garretts is a wonderful gift and should make all of us jealous. This book has made me think more about everlasting love. I don't know about the suprising twist though, but it is definitly worth reading. I would not only give it five stars but also two thumbs up!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Read this before you see the movie
Review: I am a teacher and each day at the beginning of class my students and I read silently for 20 minutes. One day 45 minutes had passed before I realized it because I was so into this novel. Garret's letters are incredibly heartwarming, and I would be won for life if any letter so written ever reached my hands.
