Rating: Summary: This is a quick, easy book to read. Review: This was a good book but by no means would I recommend this title as a great book. To me this was just a book that was neither great nor awful. It was somewhere in the middle of the road.
Rating: Summary: This book put a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. Review: Anyone who has fallen in love with the person of their dreams will really enjoy this book. He or she will take it to heart and will feel the pain, sorrow, pleasure and happiness that love brings to one another. I could not put this book down. Turning each page in anticipation, what will happen next. I think all of us has a bottle out there in the sea that is meant for us to find.
Rating: Summary: A real emotional ride Review: I just loved this book. The ending takes a turn that is very unexpected. It had me reaching for the tissue's. And I plan on reading more of his books.
Rating: Summary: couldn't put the book down. Review: Read this book on vacation recently while on the Gulf of Mexico. I kept looking out to sea for my own bottle, and thought about the book for days. The book was very entertaining and I couldn't put it down. I'll see the movie tomorrow, can't wait. This is a great romance book, that keeps you thinking about what you might do if you found a message in a bottle of your own.
Rating: Summary: The most boring and sappy bunch of drivel that I have ever Review: read. Oh boy. Now I know why I have not missed much by not reading the "Best Sellers". Bring on the non-fiction!
Rating: Summary: Entertaining Review: While most of the readers seem to either really love or hate this book, I am somewhere in between. While I recognize this is not great literature, I think it can be a lot of fun if you just relax and read it for what it's worth. I found it entertaining which is the main reason I love to read! Thanks to the reader who recommended FRIED CALAMARI. I loved it.
Rating: Summary: Tear Jerker? Review: Although this book was an easy read and kept me reading, I did not find it to be a romantic tear jerker. It was full of all too perfect love scenes. I didn't feel as if the characters really knew each other and it felt like an immature love story until the end. The ending of the book almost made it worthwhile and it did surprise me, but the first three quarters of the book sometimes annoyed me. Maybe I'm just not a romantic, but I've cried for more realistic love stories. I didn't think the Notebook was that great either. Am I just missing something? I don't think I'll watch the movie.
Rating: Summary: Predictable, no brainer Review: This book was meant to be a movie not an inspiring novel. I was disappointed by it's predictability.
Rating: Summary: This book touchs your mind, soul, and heart. Review: While reading this book so many questions entered my mind, who are you kidding, can one find love as easy as these two did, but as you get to the end we come to realize what we might have known all along... We are all broght together for some reason, and because Catherine brought these two lovers together just goes to show, True love can save us from our dread. I enjoyed both the book and the movie, they will touch your heart. The book will leave a lasting impression that at times kept me up late at night thinking. The movie will leave you with eyeliner running down your face and rushing to the ladies room to wash it off before anyone else can see just how hard you were crying.
Rating: Summary: Bittersweet love story Review: Message in a Bottle is a very touching story of a man tormented by the loss of his wife. Just when he thinks he will continue his life alone, in comes Theresa. The book takes you through the trials and tribulations of Garrett & Theresa's relationship. With a fairly surprising ending. It definitely touched my heart.
