Review: I read this book last summer and was mesmorized and moved. It was one of the best books I have ever read and have passed it on to a number of people. I swore when the movie came out I would not go see because it couldn't possibly do justice to this book. Well, I rented it and was I ever right! How could you, Nicholas Sparks, let them do that to your book?? they changed everything. I'm going to reread this book to go back to what I originally felt. It was great!! We don't often get to read a love story so sincere and tragic. Hopefully, I can recapture the true meaning without being tainted by the movie!! Thanks, Nicholas, for a great book.

Summary: I couldn't stop reading
Review: After I had read the first lines of this book, I couln't get it out of my hand. I read it the whole night and the last chapter I had to read twice, because my eyes were full of tears and the letters have been slipping away. It was a wondeful book, easy in reading and so emotional. I can't understand anyone who does not like it.

Review: I have skimmed through most of the comments on this novel and I was dissipointed at the amount of people who complained that the novel was "too easy" The beauty of this book was it's simplcity. I don't count this as the best book I have ever read, I don't count any book as the best, but it was a great book which captured a surprising amount of emotion and, I'm not ashamed to say, made me cry.I think that all of the people out there complaining about the plot and the characters need to stop for a second and realize that, to be good, a book need not be Jane Eyere. The fact that it was not a very deep thought provoking novel subtracted absolutely nothing from the enjoyment I got out of reading it.

Review: I was already curious about the book! I knew it had to be a great story! I believe it's indispensable to read it, we can all learn a thing or two with this book! I also thought it was very acurate on discribing the caracters'feelings on various ocasions; we can feel as they feel, laugh when they laugh and cry when they cry! Thumbs up!

Summary: i didn't want to put it down
Review: last week, i read "the notebook" start to finish without putting it down. two days later, i read "message in a bottle" in two parts with the same intensity. this past weekend, i rented the "message" movie. i was so mad! i had to bite my tongue to keep from telling my friend about each and every detail that had been changed. it was almost a different story! i want to read the book again to capture the emotions that were absent from the movie! nicholas, how could they do that to your beautiful book!!

Review: This is one incredibe book. I've never read anything like it. It was so well written and had such a great story line that I just couldn't put it down. In my honest opinion, if the story doesn't make you cry, take your pulse because something is wrong with you.
