Rating: Summary: A GREAT FEEL GOOD BOOK Review: I read this book only because of the movie. But after seeing the movie, you will want to read the book; trust me. The movie left out so much. N.S. has a real touch for making the reader feel warm and fuzzy. Women will love this novel better than men, I think. HEY,GO FIGURE! Overall the book was not bad, but this book is the only Sparks book for now. My dollars go for Action-and-adventure. It a man thing ! HEY, GO FIGURE ONCE MORE!
Rating: Summary: Message in a Book Review: I am NOT a sappy romance reading fan, but I loved this one!(hated the Hollywood rendition--sorry) I related to Theresa in her desire to be happy with the way her life was as a single mother and in her motivation to find the man who wrote words most of us only dream of hearing. Admittingly, the story seems unrealistic at times, but the novel still provides the reader with a truly realistic message: Live life to the fullest each day, and do not deny yourself the love of those around you. Reading Tip---do not read the last quarter of the book without tissues!
Rating: Summary: Its a better book, than a movie Review: Thats all I have to say of this book. Not a favorite, but its good to read.
Rating: Summary: one of the best book I ever read. Review: Nicholas Sparks was great.. He really know how a woman feels about love and being loved! Message in a Bottle was the book for those who want to find a real love.
Rating: Summary: Definitely heart breaking! Review: The book is so moving that I had difficulty putting it down the moment I started it. I cried buckets especially towards the end when I read the letter for Garrett to Theresa. It could be a happy ending but I'm into tragedies. Things that might have been between Garrett and Theresa got my friends and I talking for a long long time. Message in the Bottle is the first book by Nicholas Sparks that I read and it got me so curious about the others that I practically ran to the bookshop to get The Notebook and A Walk to Remember.
Rating: Summary: When all else fails, go for the tears Review: Having failed to raise much emotion with the first 350 pages of the novel, the author attempts to go for a tear-jerker ending. For the majority of the book, the female protagonist manipulates her male counterpart towards the "discovery" of true love. Ironically rather inspiring the reader to believe in the concept of "true love" this book redefines true love to be a desperate fight against loneliness with only one possible winner. Needless to say the winner is not the gullible male lead. If you feel compelled to read this book, I recommend breezing through the first 350 pages. The last 20 pages are the only ones that inspire something other than boredom.
Rating: Summary: Message In A Bottle Review: Nicholas Sparks surely has a way with words with this book! The love story is very moving. His ability to make you feel "there" is tremendous! A very heartwarming story that in the end really makes you appreciate the person you're in love with and treasure your times together.
Rating: Summary: It is an excellent book! Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This book will make you laugh and cry. A wonderful story that will keep you reading until the end.
Rating: Summary: What an enjoyable book! Review: My husband and I both travel a lot and we get our reading done by listening to audio books. We have listened to several good ones but Message in a Bottle is by far the best so far (my husband agrees also). If you want a book that is full of romance and underlying mystry this book is for you. Buy it and enjoy you won't be dissapointed.
