Review: This book has a simple, yet appealing plot. The writing style is not very good, but it's not overtaxing. It's a good book to read on the bus or at the beach.

Review: The book was enjoyable about halfway through. It got very predicable and boring at the point where lifestyle decisions had to be made. The only characters with any depth were Jeb and Deanna. It was a struggle to finish! Should have been a short story in a womens' magazine.

Review: As always... you can't judge a book by it's movie! This book was marvelous! It was my first Nicholas Sparks book... I enjoyed it so much I had to read The Notebook... Loved that, too! I was SO excited when I heard they were doing this movie but yet SO disappointed when I saw it! (The soundtrack is good! ) Anyways, this book will make you cry... A LOT! In my books... that's the makings of a good book! You will not be let down by this book! By the way, if ya love Sparks writing, try A Walk To Remember... I just finished it... I cried... LOVED IT!

Review: Message In A Bottle is a GREAT book for anyone. (I'm a sixth grader) You think and hope that the story will end happily everafter...but that's far from what happens...but in a way...it's exactly what the main charachter (Theresa) needed! After finding a message in a bottle while jogging on shore, Theresa crys as she reads the mysterious letter...but she has no clue that the writter of this letter is about to change her life! (AFTER you read the book...see the movie!)

Review: I SAW TH MOVIE FIRST BUT I MUST SAY THAY NOW THAT I READ THE BOOK ; I AM VERY DESSAPOINTED IN THE MOVIE. THERESA A DIVORCED MOTHER & COLUMNIST TAKES A WALK ON A BEACH & FOUND A MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE THAT WILL CHANGE HER LIFE. SHE MEET GARETT & SHE WILL CHANGE HIS LIFE... BEAUTIFUL STORY & WHAT AN UNEXPECTED END ! THE END.... THAT'S WHERE MY PROBLEM IS NOW TOWARDS THE MOVIE ; BECAUSE GARETT DID NOT DIE BY TRYING TO SAVE PEOPLE WHILE HE WAS SAILING BUT BY TRYING TO DO SOMETHING (I WON'T SAY WHAT IN RESPECT OF THE PEOPLE WHOM DID NOT READ THE BOOK YET) THAT STARTED THEIR WHOLE STORIE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Summary: Wonderful Delightful Book, don't see the movie!
Review: I loved this haunting romantic story, the characters pull you in to the core of their lives, and it was hard to put the book down. If you love the story of romance,this undying love story from start to end will be a delight to you. Have tissues ready! Warning! Do not expect the movie to be a carbon copy of the book! The movie of same title, changes the whole story,only thing common is the characters names! I saw no similaritys between the book. I was very disappointed in Costners wimpy performance, of Garret, in this character is romantic, witty, and charming. I don't know how the author agreed to have this movie made!

Summary: you could read it... as well as you couldn't!
Review: mesage in a bottle is n interesting book.i wouldn't characterize it as a "unique" book. the story is quite interesting without being one of great inspiration. although filled with beatiful emotions and hard to get over sentimental situations, the lack of style in expresion of the writter is something the reader can't miss. generaly it is a book that is good to read only to fill the empty time you may have! but there are defenatly better books out in the market much more worth reading!

Review: I thought Message in a Bottle was one the best books I have read in a long time. Sparks does a wonderful job at catching the romantic in all of us. I can't wait to read the next one. If you saw the movie and don't chose this one because of it you are missing out. I lent the book to a friend who lovedit and shelent it to a friend who loved it who lent it to a friend who lovedit and so on and so on. Read it you will be glad you did

Summary: Wonderful book!
Review: I loved this book. I am not an avid book reader so it takes a really good book to keep me interested and this one did the trick. From cover to cover it was a real page turner. I identified with the characters and felt like I was there. Sparks is a great author. If you liked this novel I would love to recommend Summer Sisters by Judy Blume.
