Rating: Summary: don't waste your time Review: Zane is the best author, but this book was a waste of time. It all seemed to fake. I don't understand the point in the book. I really don't think that MA could change so quickly. I also don't understand why her boyfriend treated her so nice, or why she was mad at him for getting head from Fee Fee and she was having sex with different men. I don't understand why Olive was so nice to her after what happen when she went to her house. I'm so gald that I didn't waste my money on this book.( I used a friends) PLEASE don't let this be the first book you read by Zane. I was so mad when I got done with the book.
Rating: Summary: Sisterly lust. Review: Just when I thought that Zane couldn't get any wilder! A secret sorority that enable women to become the dominate force and demanding satisfaction from their male partners, this story open with country bred Mary Ann, going to a big time university and experiencing college life. Having never left her small town, she is like a pumpkin in a silver slipper field-totally out of place. However, her sexual curiosity for watching undercover sexual acts opens her up to Patricia, her roommate, who drops a dime to Olive, the head of APF in their region. When Mary Ann is finally introduced to the sorors and their strict rules, it becomes too much to take, but slowly, she begins to find herself comforming to the group and her true sexual instincts. Believe me, this book is off-the-chain fun and can be addictive. Just ask any Zane fan.

Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Money On This Nonsense Review: Zane needs to find a new career. This book was a waste of my time and I feel guilty that I involved my friends in reading this book with me. I will never give a dime to Zane's literature again. "Blow my back out." If nothing else Zane added a little humor with this reference. I have decided that clearly my circle of acquaintances is not large enough. I don't think that anyone I know is clearly as wild and carefree as these women. And I am aware of some pretty wicked experiences that people have had. I strongly believe that Mary Anne suffers from schizophrenia or multiple personalities. She has the South Dakota persona that makes you want to shake her into reality and another personality that completely shocks you. Has anyone else noticed that for a "backwards, country bumpkin" she all of a sudden comes up with "hip" responses and a backbone. Pat will say something to MA and she will snap back and clearly put Pat in her place. I kind of like these little interactions. There really is nothing meek and countrified about her. Her style of dress may be a little off, but considering the time period and my recollection of people's dress style back then, I think she might be pretty close to the norm. However, at other times MA completely seems lost when it comes to everyday happenings. I am baffled, though, by MA's allegiance to Trevor. She is so livid about the FeFe (I don't understand this name) incident that she isn't even thankful that she didn't find another man at his place (you know, E. Lynn Harris style). Plus, Pat seems to know quite a bit about Trevor, but unless this information comes out in the last 9 chapters, we will never have a clue what really went on. I want to know what has happened with Trevor's relationship with his parents. Also, I would love to know, especially since he comes from Gary, Indiana, what his parents do that makes him "come from money." Could he be a distant cousin of Michael Jackson? Does anyone from Gary come from money? The other thing that I want to know is what really makes Trevor treat MA so differently than the other women in his past (if he really is). He says that he loves her "innocence." I think that was put in there just to make a point that men are aware of so little. After all, Trevor is still thinking that other than himself, MA has only been with 2 other men. If she continues to hang with Pat and Olive, her number WILL surpass his. Details...isn't that the one thing that is a must in a book? Well, the details are missing. Maybe the book is not meant to allow the readers to feel the characters, but I think that Zane does a poor job of ensuring that the reader understands the characters. The only character that she gives the reader a good feel for is FeFe. It is clearly obvious that she wants her readers to know that she sees that type of woman (think demographics) as needy and sure of herself (any man would want me over you attitude). Unfortunately, FF is the character that I am least interested in. I can experience her type every single day of my American life. What I dislike most is the portrayal of these women in the book. Could you possibly come across anyone nastier? Is there one humane character in this book? If Olive had treated me that way, I would never consider apologizing. And as for Pat and MA, why does MA seem to hold Pat so highly regarded? Pat has insulted her and tried to control her from the beginning. At first I thought that MA was trying to keep things from Pat because she didn't want her scandalous behavior exposed, but now I realize that she admires Pat or something. She really wasn't upset when Olive and Pat approached her about the sorority. In fact she was quite nonchalant when she thought that Pat knew about her rendezvous. I will say that I think that the one thing that MA needs to do is learn how not to incriminate herself. I could not believe that she blurted out "if this is about me going back to Drayton's, I only went one more time." At least you could wait until you are confronted before you fess up. Plus, she went on to divulge everything. Me? I would have denied, denied, denied everything. No pictures or videotape, no proof! Not to mention that MA has shown a side of herself that has no respect for marriage. She asked, about the spouses/significant others not suspecting anything. She never once seemed uncomfortable with the fact that someone's family is affected by these activities. Okay, forget that. Zane's books are not meant to get people thinking about the damage being done to society. I guess that I am too "stiff" to enjoy this story. One last thing...Did you catch how MA said to Olive that she was going to "borrow" a condom?
