Summary: Not one worth reading...a good laugh
Review: AHAHAHAHAH! I don't know if anybody has seen the publish date? It was one of Sandra's FIRST books!

But it is absolutly CORNY! I mean, Whiskey and a fishing POLE?! LOL! C'mon, she can come up with something better! "You shouldn't have done that?"

"You didn't like it."

"No, I was too hard." AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (Does he need an ego bust or What?)

If you're into making fun of corny story line, this one is worth reading. I was laughing my ass off the WHOLE time! But its not worth wasting a dime over. This is also her first book with Bantam. So...not a very good book. ;)

Summary: pleasant
Review: I am not a romance reader. I have read a few and they all follow the same formula. I picked this up because I was bored on a trip. I listened to an unabridged version read by Beth MacDonald who was very good.

This story is not bad. Spurned bride flees town to return 3 years later and meets the town sheriff Ty Beaumont - a hunky, allbeit male chauvanistic type male. I like him! (oh no!)

Anyway ... I could have done without the constant touch here , grab there and have more sizzling interative chemistry (which takes skill to write and create!) but all in all I actually enjoyed this book. I would even read another by Sandra Brown sometime.... maybe.

Summary: Not a book for modern women!!
Review: I am sorry, Sandra Brown needs to get a new style. Finding romance with a loser that bets he can get the main character in to bed - and wins a bottle of Wild Turkey if he does (if he loses he forfeits a fishing pole!), is just such a big turn off. Sorry, this sort of writing was fine back in the 80's when Brown started. To bad to see she has no changed in the last couple decades.

Review: I enjoyed this book. It was full of surprises, and unlike
any romances I've read before.

Sunny returns to town after a three year absence. She had left town because of some terrible rumors. When she returns
people still have bad thoughts of her, and one man goes so far as to make a bet concerning her. The question is where will that
bet lead to.

As I said, I enjoyed this book, and would recommend it
to not only every Sandra Brown fan, but to every fan of romance:)

Summary: Boring and Predictable
Review: I have read many of Sandra Brown's novels, and recently read SUNNY CHANDLER'S RETURN's reissue when it came to my library. I have to say that I was really disappointed by this book. There was no real plot, no memorable characters, or even good dialogue. This is by far Sandra Brown's worst book.
*** If you have at least an ounce of feminism in your bones, DO NOT read this book.

Summary: OOPS I did it again
Review: I have to give Sandra Brown credit for one thing. She has talent for making unlikely senarios into romances such as Ty Beaumont making a bet with his friend that he can get Sunny Chandler to bed. If he wins his friend gets a fishing rod, but he wins Wild Turkey. Then to add insult to injury tells Sunny about the bet. Women everywhere must be screaming their heads off. But despite all of this I've found myself enjoying some parts of the story. While it's not her best if you are looking for escapism this is it.

Summary: I really liked this book!
Review: I was a bit skeptical about reading this book after seeing other reviews. Turns out i really liked it. It was a bit far-fetched at times, but overall it was a good read.

Note to reader from Kentucky......this book IS a reprint from the 80's!

Summary: Not a book for modern women!!
Review: I was very disappointed with this book.... it should have been set in the 1800's, with a wimpering maiden. I could barely force myself through it. Just because a man looks good does not mean a succesful woman will just faint at his touch.
