Rating: Summary: Well... Review: I love EJD, I am a faithful fan of his.. have all his books. Get them as soon as they are released. But this one just didn't do it for me. It had no climax....nothing for me to look forward to and when it ended, I just thought "oh, is that it?". I really hope EJB gets back into the swing of things by the time he brings out another book. He still is my male FAVIOURITE author though, that won't change!
Rating: Summary: A GREAT HOLIDAY TREAT!! Review: Meet the McBroom sisters--Frankie, Livvy and Tommie. Frankie is the eldest sister and has all of the material things that she could possibly want; it's her love life that's lacking. Having no success meeting men in any of the conventional ways, she resorts to seeking love over the Internet. What follows is a series of disappointing dates, leaving Frankie to wonder if she will ever find her soulmate. Livvy, the middle sister, is dealing with the infidelity of her husband--and the possible lifelong ramifications from the affair. Angry, she turns to the Internet looking for answers, and finds a man whose wife has also betrayed him. The result is a hot, torrid affair with someone who appears to be wonderful. But things are never as they seem...... Tommie is the youngest sister, who continues to recover from an abusive relationship--and she has the physical scars to prove it. Celibate for two years, she cannot deny the attraction she feels for her neighbor, Blue--who is also 16 years her senior, with a young child and plenty of baby momma drama. Not to mention the fact that he is one of sister Frankie's tenants.....There's plenty of action in this latest EJD addition. Frankie finally stops looking for Mr. Right in all of the wrong places, Livvy's affair with an equally married man explodes in her face in ways you would never imagine, and Tommie realizes that love can be had in a man called Blue--despite the age difference. Pick up the book and read it under your tree...thanks for the gift, Mr. Dickey!

Rating: Summary: Naughty or Nice Review: 'Tis the season to curl up with this quick Christmas tale, so grab a cup of hot chocolate or cappucino. Eric does his usual great job of tapping into the lives of us sistahs. He has once again captured the heart of the basic need to reach out and touch someone.....and it is really all about, "the end".
Rating: Summary: A Dickey Fan Review: I love Eric Jerome Dickey's books, and he doesn't disappoint in this one either.
Rating: Summary: You don't want it to end! Review: Mr. Dickey has done it yet again. I could have finished this book in 2 days, but I restrained myself because I didn't want the story to end. In his notorious quick and witty style, EJD takes you on a journey into the hearts and minds of these 3 characters. You will be laughing one minute, and the next minute, you'll be caught up in a sex scene that will leave you forgetting where you are. Overall, I enjoyed this book through and through. Pick up a copy!
Rating: Summary: great story Review: I loved this book. I've read other books by this author and they're all worth reading. The characters are lively and real, the story moves along and keeps one interested, the holiday theme is present but not overwhelming and it has a good message of love and family. My only drawback is that the characters don't really stand out from others he has written. They're almost stereotypical images. Definitely worth picking up. Enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Just in time for Christmas Review: Frankie, Livvy and Tommie are the McBroom sisters. They are super-close and have been since the passing of their parents. No matter what one sister needs another one has her back. During this Christmas season they each find themselves needing their sisters a little more than usual. Frankie, the eldest, is about as unlucky with love as a person can get. She has resorted to meeting brothers on the Internet. Unfortunately, none of them seem to be what their ad says. Frustrated and aggravated she keeps on trying. It's not until she happens to cross paths with an old flame that makes her re-evaluate her decisions on love. Livvy, the Jan Brady of the family, is heartbroken. Having been served with paternity papers at a party at her home she doesn't know how she is going to survive her marriage. Unbeknownst to her or anyone else, she follows in her elder sister's footsteps and looks for love. She realizes that in her marriage and her affair that things aren't always what they seem. The problem is that she learns her lesson a bit late. Tommie, the baby of the family has a heart of gold. Burnt, literally and figuratively, by men she has built a wall around her heart. Her neighbor and close friend, Blue, has begun to snatch those bricks down one by one. Unfortunately, Tommie doesn't know how to show or tell him. With all hell breaking loose for each of them at the same time. Will they be able to be there for each other, or will each sister have to determine her own path? Naughty or Nice will keep you interested until the very end. Angie Pickett-Henderson ReadInColor Moderator/Reviewer Boston, MA

Rating: Summary: Up to date reading Review: I have one more chapter to go before I'm finished reading this book! This is really a great book. Mr. Eric Jerome Dickey if you are reading this I would like to request for you to have a continuation of this book...this book IS a must read... When you read this book it feels like you are reading about today...the things that are happening on this day are also happening in his book. For instance he mentions the Kobe Bryant case, and a couple of other things that are happening today in 2003! It's really a great book. I would advise anyone who enjoys good reading to purchase it! Thank You.
