Rating: Summary: Average. Not his best work. Review: It was something to read. Definately not one of the best he's written. I am a Dickey fan to the end, but his work has definately gone down hill. If you have never read Dickey books before, I'd suggest starting with "Sister, Sister," "Cheaters," "Friends and Lovers," "Liar's Game," or "Milk in my Coffee." Definately his best work!
Rating: Summary: All Thumbs Up! Review: The women of Literary Essence all enjoyed this work from our man EJD. This was about love, lust, and loss, but mostly about sisterhood, and staying together. We enjoyed the sisters of this novel, and many of our members could relate in many ways. We found much of it to be quite funny. This book took us through all kinds of emotions and still left us feeling good in the end. We give EJD and this novel 5 stars, for him always giving us wonderful works to read!
Rating: Summary: Thank Goodness Review: my main reason for likeing this book because I strongly disliked the author's work but he change my whole atittude so I suggest that you all read it.
Rating: Summary: Never Settle For Less Ladies! Review: Naughty & Nice is everything right. I loved this book for one reason, I can't stand folks telling me to settle for anything. I want it all! Eric is royalty and has written the kind of book on the issues I can always relate to and knows how to keep his loyal readers coming back for more. Loved it! Terrific and fresh!
Rating: Summary: Are you naughty or nice Review: I rate this book 5 stars because it's so true, and realistic. Things like this happen in everyday life. Whether people want to face it or not. Livvy, Frankie, and Tommie are actually living people lives. And I'm pretty sure 9 out of 10 of the people who has read this book can relate to some of the things that these women were experiencing in their lives. I would recommend this book to everybody. Because it's an interesting book. It's one of those book that you can't get your nose out of. Once you start, you got to finish. I really did enjoy this book. Keep up the good work my spiritual brother. Keep enlighting the world with your mind, and hidden thoughts.
Rating: Summary: EJD you did it again! Review: Another great book from EJD. EJD always finds a way to pull you into his stories and this one was no exception. Excellent story line. A must read!
Rating: Summary: EJD, you have gotten me again!! Review: I read this book in one day. I laughed, cried, and felt all of the pain and the joy that the sisters were having. EJD knows how to grab your attention and take you on a trip. This trip however, was a wonderful and thought provoking ride trough cities in California. I am waiting for your next book. I work and attend school, but I can still find time to read because reading is my passion. Thanks again for the ride.
Rating: Summary: Funny, Light and Easy Read! Review: EJD has done it again! This is a quick, easy and delightful read! The McBrooms sisters are all characters! If you want a good laugh read this short but sweet story! Livvy, Frankie and Tommie are all lovable characters.
Rating: Summary: It was OK.... Review: I thought this book was ok.The book talked more about Livvy than it did Tommie and Frankie, her other sisters.I feel that the author didn't give much information on each sister.I guess Livvy felt like 2 wrongs would make a right because she ended up hooking up with someone on the internet but in the end she got surprised alright. In my opinion it started out kinda slow but it picked up in the middle on towards the end.
Rating: Summary: Confused Sisters Review: I was not impressed with this novel by Dickey. It kept going on and on and on and on. As I was reading I wanted it to hurry up and be over. I usually can't put his books down, but this time it took everything I had to finish Naughty or Nice. I was disappointed with the behavior of the sisters. I wanted to tell them to get a clue. I still want to read The Other Woman. Hope this one is better.
