Review: I have read a lot of books in my life, and I have read others by this author, none of them have impacted my emotions like this one. There are no words to describe it, only emotions. A simpler time in America, yes! But love has not changed in all those years. Now I know why so many people from this era have been or were married for so many years compaired with today. They loved, unconditionally.

Review: I'm an avid reader and love all kinds of books. This has to be the best novel I've read all year though. I laughed and I cried. It was the kind of story you'll always remember and think about with every other book you read. I recommend this to anyone else!

Summary: The Spark has fizzeled out
Review: I have to say that Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors. A Walk to Remember was a wonderful story, but lacked on some level, the emotion put forth in The Notebook and Message in a Bottle. It is definitely worth reading, don't get me wrong, but don't expect the same reaction you had with the other two.

Review: You wondered what the difference was between the "Christian" version (from Crossings) and the regular version, available everywhere else. There were approximately 7 changed words, that's all. Crossings doesn't allow even slight profanity in their editions (such as the word "ba___rd").

Review: I recently purchased the book "A Walk to Remember" from a book club that sells Christian based literature. To my surprise, the book had a disclaimer on the front dust cover that said it was a version of the book I had thought I had purchased. I have read this version, and do not feel there are any holes in the fabric. But just what am I missing with this version, anyway?

Review: This book certainly bombed for me. I very much enjoyed the author's earlier two titles, but found this most recent work trite and predictable, as well as overly syrupy and sweet. No twists. No "moral." Way too predictable. This is what you might see on a made-for-TV movie that lasts 90 minutes. Sorry, this one wasn't for me.

Review: This is the most amazing book I have ever read. It took me only three hours to read the beautiful words of Nicholas Sparks from cover to cover. I laughed and then I sobbed...I would recommend this book to anyone willing to take a look at their own lives, and wonder what is missing...

Review: This book was a terrible letdown to me after reading the first two books by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook was one of the best books I have read in many years, Message in a Bottle was also excellent as was the movie, I hope that if Sparks writes any more books they are up to the excellence of his first two! I recommend reading his first novels and saving your time and money by not reading his last one.

Summary: Don't miss this one
Review: Although the plot is predictable, boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy looses girl, I found this to be a book that I could not put down. It has also stayed with me long after I finished reading it. The characters, setting and author's narrative are vividly developed. These people and this place feel real to me. No matter what part of the country you're from, this setting will remind you of home and simpler times. It will evoke the spectrum of emotional reactions, from laughter to tears. It certainly reminded me of my own coming of age experiences when many of the world's lessons were yet to be discovered. Part of what lingers is the disappointment when the protagonist realizes that all endings aren't happy. I'm sure most of us can relate to that.
