Summary: Easy reading
Review: This book was an easy read. I have never read a book in one sitting and I sat at home sick one day and read it from cover to cover... It's a nice story that should entertain you if not make you cry.

Summary: A Walk to Remember, Reviewed by: Teresa Tartaglio, Monroe Ct
Review: I just finished reading A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks, which is about how everything changes when you find that special somone. Also Sparks sends an upliffing message to his readers that you dont have always need to be popular to find your true love.

Landon Carter had dated a girl or two, and even has been in love. The last person in town he thought he could fall in love with is Jamie Sullivan, a quiet girl who carries a Bible where ever she goes, and lives a differnt life then other teenagers.

Since Landon didn't have a date for the homecoming dance he asked Jamie to go. Landon had no idea he would forever be changed by Jamie and he would come to find out that being with her would send him on the road to manhood.

I would recommend this book because in life each of us may find one great love, or even a great friend that changes everything.

Summary: A Walk To Remember
Review: The book a Walk To Remember, written by Nicholas Sparks, is one of the most heartfelt book I have ever read. There is romance, drama, and many lessons learned.
In a little town in North Carolina, a boy was becoming a man. When Landon Carter was a seinor, he took a drama class, which just happened to have the minister's daughter in it. Jamie Sullivan was a plain girl, she didn't care what other people thought of her or that she wasn't "normal". The play that was put on was written by Jamie's father, and of course Jamie played the angel. Landon was given the main part, Tom, who falls in love with with her. Thats when it started, Landon was falling for Jamie.
He started visiting her house every day after school, but he soon felt unfulfilled, so he got up the nerve to ask her out (keep in mind that this happened in the 1950's and that was a big deal), and to his surprise, she said yes. Eventually they started to spend as much time as possible together. They did things at the orphanage or just sat on he pourch and talked.
Landon finally put a meaning to the saying, "Don't Judge a book by it's cover". He finds out that it doesn't matter if Jamie doesn't wear the right clothes or she reads the Bible all the time, it's those traits that make her unique and special to him. The ending was a HUGE surprise! It was like being thropwn a curve ball. The book showed me was it was like to live life to the fullest. It's like Andrew Loyde Webber said, "Love Changes Everything".

Summary: Very Touching, and heartfelt
Review: This book is woven together so well. It's about a boy who slowly becomes a man when he falls in love with a girl, not because of what people say of her, but because of her heart. It will always leave a perptual feeling for me. It's my favorite book I've ever read. I literally stayed up to 11:00 at night reading in my alarm clock light. It is a good book, even if you don't buy it here please read it. It gives me as a person, strong feelings about life. It is about two people falling in love, through obstacles. It is so riveting...

Summary: Perfection as a Mystery
Review: I loved A Walk To Remember. Anyone who has ever lived in a small town can relate to this book. The chemistry of Landon and Jamie is so very typical of any teenage relationship. The relationship Jamie has with God is a little radical for a teenager, but in my opinion the world needs more like that. This book is wonderfully written, and has a superlative plot. This book sparked deep emotions inside of me...I laughed on one page, and cried on the next. I would recommed this book to anyteenage girl, espcially those who live in a small town.

Summary: The Best Book I Have Read
Review: A Walk To Remember is the best book I have ever read, and I have read a lot. A Walk To Remember was so great. I got the book because I had saw the preview for the movie. I absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story. I read this book within 2 days, I just couldn't put it down. Now all my friends are passing it around so everyone can read. Once I got started with A Walk To Remember, I had to read the rest of the Nicholas Sparks collection. I have read The Notebook and in the middle of A Message In A Bottle, next on my list is The Rescue and then A Bend In The Road. I am excited. You just have to read this book! You will be hooked for ever

Review: A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks, is a great novel!! Jamie is the preacher's daughter and she is nice to everyone. Landon is the kind of boy who is sort of a rebel. He meets Jamie and thinks that's she's kind of weird. but then he gets to know her after taking her to the homecoming dance. They become friends and soon fall in love. He also has a change in heart about life and basically everything. The ending is very surprising! You've GOT to read this book!!

Summary: A HEART TOUCHING, BITTER SWEET HARMONY
Review: This book was an easy read because the author is writing his words from the mind of a teenage boy in the 50's. However, that just makes the book all the more enjoyable. I really enjoyed reading the book because it is a very sweet, and touching book about an unsuspecting young love. The characters were all so colorful, and in depth. i ecspecially enjoyed reading about the rituals of Jamie Sullivan, and the changes of Landon Carter. I could also relate this to my own life. I know what it means to be different, and unique in your beleifs whether religous or not. I was astounded at how Landon grew from this wonderful girl. I would greatly recommend that you read this utterly touching tale. It will kindle and warm your heart, and it will make your spirit feel content. Enjoy this book, and don't rush through it!

Summary: A Light-hearted and Serious Book
Review: I read this book because a friend was reading it. I did not do so however until my Freshman year of Highschool. I regret at waiting so long. A Walk To Remember is a book for all emotions. I laughed, I cried, I was shocked, I was amazed. For anyone, who has not read this book, read it. It is a fine work of literature, that should win some kind of a Newbery or other award.
