Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is a novel I highly recommend that you experience. This story takes me home to North Carolina. The descriptions of the area are right on time with the very nature of the small southern town that I grew up in. You will be able to experience the joy and the pain as though looking through the eyes of Landon Carter as he shares his story in this book. A Walk to Remember will surely be a book you remember due to the fact that it touches on our deepest emotions and leaves you with a sense of sharing this young seventeen- year- old's unforgettable story of love, joy and pain. Take heed to the warning in the book, "First you will smile, and then you will cry... don't say you haven't been warned."

Summary: Very sweet book!
Review: I hadn't really intended on reading this until my best friend gave it to me for my birthday. I had seen the movie and liked it, but I was really blown away by the book.
The story loses some of its teeneybopper movie elements in favor of a sweeping, romantic story that still retains younger generation appeal. I loved the descrpition of the Christmas play in here better than the one they did in the movie, and all in all, the book was better.
I read it while listening to the "Love Affair" soundtrack in my headphones, and it really accentuated the romantic longing and feelings. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked the movie -- you will probably like the book even better!

Summary: This book shows you the true things in life...
Review: I bought A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks about 2 years ago, and yet I still can't seem to put the book down. The way Sparks words everything in the story weaves it way through your heart. Recently, I went to see the movie, and it was just as great. I still cry everytime I read the book. It shows you the true meanings of everyday life that most choose to ignore. I'd recommend this book for anyone to read. Nicholas Sparks is a wonderful author, and he proves it once again with A Walk to Remember.

Summary: The Best Book Ever
Review: For one who didn't believe in such love and power I absolutely loved this book. It is the best book I've ever read and I can guarantee you will absolutely love it. For all those who have seen the movie and don't want to read the book, you're missing out on something wonderful!

Summary: Glad I decided to try Sparks one more time
Review: When I read "The Notebook" some five odd years ago, I really didn't care for Spark's brand of writing. It seemed so cliched and Harlequin romance. I really thought I'd never like his work.
I was given this book by my mother to read, and I loved it!
It starts off great. It is being narrated by the main character, Landon, at ages 57 and 17. Landon is a very likable character. I immediately felt drawn to him, and I wanted to learn more about who he was. Sparks did a great job of allowing us to get to know his characters. I grew to love both Landon, and Jamie, who is the female character in the story. They are in high school, and are both going through a lot in their senior year. They share a lot of good and bad times together, and eventually fall in love. It's a bittersweet story, and worth reading right to the last page.
This is a very quick, easy to read book, but it also tragically sad. It is a beautiful story, and it was beautifully written by Nicholas Sparks.
It is not just a romantic story, but it is a coming of age story as well. I think it would appeal to a lot of people as just a good story, even if it is very sad. It is worth the tears.

Im not the biggest fan of readign but i thought the book was really good. Very touching story. Nicholas Sparks really knows how to write love stories that even guys can be interested in reading.

Summary: The best book
Review: I just read this book today and it is one of the best books I ever read in my whole life. It is so sad yet so sweet that you just have to love it. I thought I was going to hate it because I can't stand books that depress me, but I ended up loving it because in the end it is soooo sweet and made me feel good.

Summary: Heart Warming
Review: Have you ever read a book that made you want to fall in love? With a Walk To Remember, maybe you just might. This book is very heart warming and makes you believe in faith. I thought it was going to be a corny book, but I was so wrong. It makes you believe that true love really does exist. When Landon says, "I would have married Jamie Sullivan even if my miracle had come true.", it makes you wish that his miracle would have happened. I recommend this book anyone and everyone.

Summary: MARVELOUS!!!
Review: This is the first book I have read from Nicholas Sparks and I plan on reading his others. I am so glad I picked it up. The characters were well developed and there was enough humor and tear jerking moments to make you want to read it again. I fell in love with the characters. I hope that the movie is just as good. In the words of Miss Garber...A Walk To Remember is "MARVELOUS!" :)
