Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: In this small town, Jamie was not known as one of the normal people. Her father was a preacher and she wore her hair in a bun, a brown shaw around her sholders, and she always carried a bible with her. She was very smart and the most caring person you'll ever meet. Landon was a boy that she went to school with and to church with, and he desperately needed a date to the prom. He knew that Jamie wouldn't have a date so he asks her. Landon and Jamie end up spending alot of time together with school, church, the play, and the orphanage that they fall in love, and he sees her like he never has seen her before. Towards the end of the book, he finds out the she has leukemia and ends up finding himself at peace with God. As they begin their wedding, Jamie struggles as she walks down the isle, but it was her moment to shine, it was her dream come true. The book kind of ends in a mystery. You really don't know what happens to her, but it was a great love story. I really liked it alot. It gave me a new outlook on the acceptance of others, ecspecially through God. It was a very moving story and I would gladly read it again!

Summary: A Remembered Review
Review: A Walk to Remember was a really good book. It keeps your attention throughout the whole book. It is one you can not put down. It is about a young girl named Jamie that is very shy, quiet, and very kind, but is not one of the most liked kids at school and doesn't fit in too well. On the other hand there is a guy at school named Landon is one of the most popular and his friends think very little of Jamie until one day he has to ask her for help with school. Many things happen, but that is something you will have to find out for yourself. They go through many obstacles that are a little funny, strange, and also sad. It is a good book and I would recommend it.

Summary: A book you will remember
Review: A walk to remember was one of the best books I have read. It shows that true love conquers all. At the beginning of the story, Landon is this trouble maker who is only looking out for himself. He wouldn't even give Jamie the time of day. Jamie is a good-hearted teenager who will help anyone and everyone. The two are obvisouly from two differnt worlds. Landon gets into trouble and is forced to do be in the Christmas play along with Jamie, who wants to be in the play. At first Landon does not want to do the play and he doesn't try. With Jamie's help, he gets his lines down and he actually enjoys it. Since they are spending so much time with each other, he starts to open up to her. While all of this is happening, Landon's feelings for Jamie are changing. He is starting to fall for her. Even though all of his friends don't agree with his new feelings for her, he still tells her how he feels. I don't want to give the rest of this book away, but I just want to say that love is worth taking a chance.
This book will make you laugh, smile, and cry. It is a wonderful book about how falling in love can change everything. I have read it three times, and I am sure I will read it again. It is a story that will touch your heart and you will never forget.

Summary: I liked it
Review: This was a compelling novel about a guy named landon and a girl named Jamie. It portrays how people can have life so easy, with out a care in the world and have it change in a matter of seconds. In the story Landon was the prepy type popular kid who begins to fall in love with the more quiet, unsocial preacher's daughter Jamie. She begins to show him that this is more to life than what people think. As the time passes, Landon falls in love with Jamie and would do anything under the son for her. When he finds out that she is dying of leukemia, his whole perspective of life changes. He realizes that nothing else matters but making all of her dreams come true before she dies. I believe this novel teaches its readers about the true meaning of life, which is not to take things for granted and no matter how well you think your life is going there will always be some one who has it worse, and you might not notice it until you find out it is some one whom you love. This was a great book, and I reccomend it to anyone who has a soft heart and a feel for the compassion it will bring into your life.

Summary: A memorable walk to remember
Review: A walk to remember is an awesome book. Sparks describes certain scenes so in depth that vivid images appear in your mind. My favorite part in this book is where Landon goes to visit Jamie at the orphanage on Christmas Eve. I love the part where Jamie is holding one child while sitting next to Landon. I can picture the room with the christmas decorations and the perfectly adorned christmas tree. Almost immediately, you can imagine the sense of serenity and calmness in the room. If I had to change anything in this book, I will lengthen the ending by another chapter. The ending is sort of abrupt, leaving the reader sort of on the edge waiting for more to happen. This book is an easy read, but it is definitely worth every moment. I would recommend this book to any sentimental romantic.

Summary: A Walk To Remember - A Story of Love and Tragedy
Review: I can honestly say that this book was amazing. Never in my life has a book made me cry, and at the end of the story, I had tears in my eyes. This wonderful tale is all about two teenagers at the age of seventeen in love and the strange turns that life presents them with. It was all told through the eyes of a man named Landon who was 40 years old. I think that Nicholas Spark has such a wonderful talent to be able to really get into a teenage girl's mind and describe it so vividly. Not very often today do we hear about a man writing such a wonderful love story. Also being a seventeen year old girl, I really felt as if I was Jamie, the main girl character in which Landon falls in love with. I could feel her pain when she shared her secret with Landon. I could not tear myself away from this book for 5 hours straight. It was full of such love and excitement and also a sad but happy ending. I have not gotten a chance to see the movie yet, but if it still has the same plot, I'm sure it is great. I would recommend this book to anyone, male or female, who just simply wants to enjoy a wonderful book.

Summary: A Walk no one will forget.
Review: I recommend this book to any person, male or female. This book teaches the fact of life to everyone. As I was reading this book I cried and I laughed. I felt that I was walking next to Jamie and Landon through the entire book. Landon fell in love with the last person in the world he ever thought he would fall in love with, but his love was so strong for her he would have done anything for her. Jamie showed Landon a different side to everything, showing him not to take anything for granted anymore. Some people take the little things they have for granted, until they meet someone who is less fortunate and does not have the chance to take them for granted. No matter who you are, you cannot help who you fall in love with, but when you do make sure you keep that person and show them everyday how much you care. I would say this book is definatly one that every one should read, and then appreciate how much they have. Life is too short to take things for granted, so please enjoy life to the fullest, and remember to be like Landon, show your self and others how much you care about them. Jamie and Landon's love was so strong, no matter how short it was they will love each other forever.

Summary: A Very Sweet Love Story
Review: This is a book that deals with love and loss. It tells a story of two teenagers falling in love and the experiences that they have. At the beginning, Jamie and Landon are two very different people who do not seem to have anything in common. However, after a few incidents that throw them together, they realize that they cannot be apart. Jamie and Landon fall in love and have to deal with her secret. Landon tries to make all of her dreams come true, which is shown in some very sweet and surprising situations. It also illustrates the obstacles of growing up. I recommend this book. Although it will make you cry, it will leave an unbelievable impact on you.

Summary: Remember A Walk To Remember
Review: I really liked this book. I loved the way Jaime and Landon fell in love in the end. It was the perfect love story. You can't help but feel sorry for Jaime. The worst things happen to the best people. At first, I hated Landon for how horribly he treated her. In the end, I felt sorry for him though. He lost the love of his life. I really liked the way he never took his ring off. The only thing I didn't like was how they never really went in depth about Jaime's father's feelings. He lost his wife and now he is losing his daughter. She is the only thing he has left. All together it was a good book and I definitely recommend it.

Summary: Lacy's Book to Never Forget
Review: When growing up people encounter all walks of life including the upper class, minority, preps, jocks, religious followers and others. Living in such a diverse population provides opportunity for prejudice against people considered outside the norm. In this "edge of your seat", joyous, yet sad book, Nicholas Sparks illustrates just how judgmental people can be and the repercussions of there actions. Not only does Landon and his friends ridicule shy, kind, and loving Jamie, but also they never allow themselves to know how wonderful she really is until it is too late. Little did Landon know how much his "blow off" drama class was going to change his life and the people in it. I recommend this book to every person who enjoys a tale of love and tragedy, with a life lesson on believing in the ways of God. I loved this book and have read it twice thus far and would not hesitate to read it again to get that feeling of what people will do for true love.
