Summary: I'll give it a five
Review: I just finished this book and i thought it was great. So beleivable, so fluid. They author plants right in the scenes as though this were a Drive-In Theatre. It is easy to follow even for those not as old as the main characters is supposed to be.

The book is often funny too. The comments about his strategy for becoming student body president was hilarious.

My one fault in the book is the excessive use of the phrase" If you know what I mean." I am not sure if it was used to bring the reader back to the present time or to make sure the reader is fixed in the past, I just think it was used too much, there for a predictable distraction.

Summary: A truley beautiful story that you will never forget
Review: After seeing the movie, I knew that I must get the book. I only managed to get my hands on it and I was blown away.
A Walk to Remember is a story of Landon, a 17 year old in his last year of High School. Through a twist of fait, he falls in love with Jamie, the preacher's daughter and the girl that touched his heart. Throughout the book, Sparks keeps you on a journey of true love and faith.
Never have I read a book so deep and bittersweet. And the challenge that overcomes them both in the end will have you in tears and never forgeting this book which is truley "A Walk to Remember."

Summary: Not as traditional as you might think...
Review: A Walk to Remember is of course, a love story, but the novel's characters, unlike other love stories, develop with eachother. The author describes each character the most when the two are together, all the more pulling in the concept that their unexpected love is the only thing that makes them complete.
Wonderful, heart wrenching ending, unexpected, beautiful story.

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: I really enjoyed A Walk to Remember. I have to say this book is my favorite. This story takes the reader through stages of love, laughter, illness, health and youth.
The story will touch anyone who has a heart. Reading this book has helped me understand more about leukemia, and the affects it has on it's victims. My aunt recommended that I should read this book. I read the book and loved it! It is very rare for me to experience the emotions I had while reading this book.
I myself am not a big reader, but this book I could not put down. In my own opinion this is the best book I've read by Nicholas Sparks. After reading A Walk to Remember, I plan to read more books by Sparks.
This book was very easy for me to relate to, since I have had a family member die with leukemia. If you are trying to decide on a book to read, I recommended A Walk to Remember to anyone with a heart. I promise Sparks will not disappoint anyone who reads this book. Do yourself a favor and read it!

Summary: 1st Book ever that was way worse than the movie
Review: Once I saw the movie "A Walk To Remember" I fell in love with it. Then a lot of people started reading the book. So I thought that since the book is like 98% of the time better than the movie, I started to read it.The beginning was dull and unconvincing. I thought It might get better. It din't. The book was nothing like the movie and not nearly as good. The main reason that I was appauled by the book is that it is sooooooo unrealistic. Even I could write better than that and I am only 12. Parts of it were hard to follow and parts of it would go on and on about tiny details that were boring or unimportant. did I metion it was so unrealistic. Obviously this writer does not know how real humans interact. right off the bat I should have noticed that this was a GUY writting a ROMANCE novel. It was a pathetic attempt of a love story. I couldn't even finnish the book! I got 2 thirds of the way through and then just said "forget this." This was the 1st book I have ever read that wasn't even close to being as good as the movie. It is ashame that people like me who loved the movie and tried to read the book have to waste their time.

Summary: Beautiful Tears Will Fall From Your Eyes
Review: Every woman needs to read this story. Actually, it probably wouldn't hurt for every man out there to read it as well.

A Walk To Remember is an exquistely written, yet simply told, story of love between two young adults in the 1950's. It is love in the purest, truest sense. There is no over-inflated romance, no teenage silliness. It is the kind of love that everyone dreams of, but perhaps doesn't quite believe is possible.

By the time you're finished reading, many tears will have left your eyes. But you'll be glad they did.

Summary: A wonderful story
Review: This just has to be the sweetest, most uplifting love story ever. I reluctantly started it after my mother encouraged me to read it, and after the first twenty pages, I was hooked. The style of writing is so perfect for the story. It's not ostentatious, just sweet and simple.

Landon Carter is 17 years old, a high school senior in a small town. He's very well-off, but a rebel at heart. He doesn't like rules, and his friends are the same. Jamie is also 17, but as different as can be from Landon. She's the preacher's daughter, and is never seen doing anything but helping someone else. She always carries her Bible, and the Lord's plan is a favorite subject of discussion. After she does a favor for Landon, she asks him to star with her in the Christmas play her father wrote. That's when they get to know each other, and eventually fall in love, much to Landon's surprise. But Jamie has a secret, and it will inevitably put an end to their sweet romance if Landon doesn't do something-fast.

I can't think of anything that could have been done to improve this book. The only thing wrong with it was that it ended. I have to admit that I cried just BUCKETFULS while reading this. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
