Summary: Surprisingly good
Review: It had been on my bookshelf for months but I didn't have the interest to read the book. I only read it when I learned that we were going to watch the movie starring Mandy Moore. Needless to say, the book was far better than the movie. The book was also better than what I expected. In fact, it's one of the best

Summary: Good
Review: This was a good book not as good as the movie in my opinion but maybe it is because the movie is sappier and in a more modern light. I suggest this book though it is very touching and the begining could make you cry, if you know the ending.

Summary: Is there such a rating as 'zero'
Review: I just wanted to ask, is there such a thing as zero stars rating, because if there is, that's what I'll like to give this book. Everybody kept telling me how wondeful and touching this book was, but when I read it... I was really disappointed because everybody, like EVERYBODY said it was really good, but I found it otherwise. For one, I found this book extrememly unrealistic. The chances of someone like Landon Carter liking Jamie is practically zero. For another, I found it weird that even someone like Landon would marry a dying girl. At they married when they were 17! That's just plain weird. Someone told me that Landon Carter says' if you know what I mean' too much in the book. I found that to be true, and also, Landon Carter said' by the way' and, 'Anyway' a little bit too much. I can't understand why the author left the reader in suspense at the end when he didn't reveal whether Jamie died or not. The end was sort of an enigma. But, as I said before, I didn't really like the book so I won't recommend it to anybody.

Summary: Words Cannot Describe how disgustingly bad this book is.
Review: At first, I was told by a friend that this book was really good, but really sad. Over the summer, I read a couple of customer reviews and they were all saying how good and touching and moving this book was. So I decided to read it. I was on the verge of buying this book when I picked it up in the local library. And am I glad I saved my allowance by borrowing this book! I couldn't even finish reading it. It was 1) Extremely boring 2) uses the phrase ' if you know what I mean" too much. 3) Marrying at 17? Give me a break. 4) Unrealistic 5) Too cheesy and sappy 6) The author, Nicholas Sparks, wrote about his proposal in the acknowledgement page of the book. I really think that the story of his 'joyous' proposal didn't belong in the book.

I would not recommend this book to anybody except for people who still believe that Barney is a real dinosaur( young girls who dream of becoming princesses). I guess the author was trying to sound like a seventeen-year-old by puting in stuff like' if you know what I mean', but instead, he made Landon Carter sound like a moron. If you must read the book, have it your way, but personally, I think it was not something I would ever want to read. In comparison to other books I've read this summer, this one would be my least favourite.

Summary: One of My Top 10 Favorite Novels
Review: This was absolutely the Best novel I have read. I laughed,
smiled, and cried. Normally I do not read authors I have not read before, but I was drawn to this book. The movie is also good, but I loved the book more. The movie is more modernized and has some different parts than the book. If you see this book anywhere, pick it up and read it. It will be the most rewarding feeling. I highly recommend it to anyone. Especially those who are romatics like me.

Summary: a book to remember
Review: i read a lot, but ive never read anything quite like this. okay, so it's a pretty well known storyline, popular guy meets unpopular girl and they fall in love, but there seems to be a lot more to the story, as if your heart understands more than you do. And although i guessed "the secret" fairly early, the last senteance really surprised me and surprisingly made me cry. i don't often read a book more than once, but i think this will be one i read a thousand times. "a walk to remember" is certainly a book to remember!!!

Summary: The best book I've read.
Review: This is the first book of Nicholas I've ever read and he is my favorite writer right now just by reading this great book. It's a beautiful story that show us the love in essence, the kind of emotions and feelings that lacks these days, it really made me cry and a story that I won`t soon forget.

Nicholas did a great job, and for sure I couldn't wait to see his other books.

Summary: Thank God I saw the movie first
Review: This book ... but thank God I saw the movie first. The book was only good for one thing . It helped to clarify the title of the movie and book. In the book Landon is not that bad boy that lured girls in the movie. He is as cookie cutter as they come. Jamie is absolutely perfect though. Nothing about her changed. Save all your money to buy the movie and skip this stupid book. you won't regret it.
