Summary: Wow, a great read!
Review: Oh my gosh, if you've seen the movie, you have to read this. Oh-and read it even if you haven't. But, beware, I sobbed my heart out at the end. It is REALLY well writen, which is why i got so emotional at the end. I read it in a few days, becuase I couldn't put it down.

Summary: Touching and thought-provoking,
Review: I have to admit I saw the movie before reading this book. I didn't expect to get much more out of the book, but once I began reading I knew that I was wrong. The book provides insight into the characters' thoughts and feelings in a way that the movie cannot, it is sure to pull at your heartstrings and leave a lasting impression.

Summary: Most Favorite Book
Review: I loved this book!... I thought for a girl my age this was the perfect book to take me away from the reality of boys and dating. It's nice to dream once in awhile. I love that I could love the characters; if I can't stand the characters then I won't enjoy the book. Even if the book wasn't completely possible it was a very enjoyable book that I could read about a thousand more times. I disagree with these reviews that say that this is just like another Harlequin romance novel because this book is so far from that. This book has class and sophistication. If you enjoy a sweet story of new and young love, read this book. I also recommend his other books (The Notebook, however, was my least favorite).

Summary: The best book I've ever read
Review: You would be heartless if you read this book and did not laugh and cry!!

Summary: A Love Story You'll Never Forget
Review: In 1958, Landon Carter was seventeen and a high school senior. He was always out looking for a good time. But something happens that changes his life forever. He agrees to be in a play and the lead female part is the being played by Jamie Sullivan. Jamie is the minister's shy, quiet daughter. Falling in love with Jamie was the last thing that Landon thought would happen. The lessons he learns from Jamie are more important than anything else he will ever learn in his life.

Summary: Don't Ask Me Why ...
Review: What made me, a young man of twenty four, buy this book is a tale in itself. I would narrate it to you. But I am not Nicholas Sparks.

Bracing myself for a romantic adolescent melodrama, I decided to read the book as quickly as possible to get it over with. Nary a chapter later, I was hooked.

When I reached the latter half of the book, I found the going tough. It wasn't the language or the content that was slowing me down. Teary eyes had blurred my sight, and I found myself reaching for the box of Kleenex at the end of every line.

The time was an hour past midnight. The book was read; my eyes were red. As I lay there in bed, trying to force myself to sleep, my mind kept conjuring up images from the book. Each brought a swell of tears to my eyes. I was sad, but I was happy to be sad.

"A Walk to Remember" is a voyage of discovery for two teenagers through the uncharted waters of first love. Even in an age where love and lust are synonymous, this tale made me long for love that's chaste. I wanted to be seventeen again, freed from the shackles of adulthood, and my innocence restored.

I wanted to fall in love again.

Summary: Not just any mushy teen romance
Review: When I wasn't doing much over the summer, I'd take time to read this book. When I got to the end of it, I cried. Landon Carter was heading to a dead end. One day, he met Jamie Sullivan; a girl so full of sweetness and charisma. All the other kids at school made a spectacle of her b/c she sat by herself at lunch reading the bible. Unlike his friends, Landon took the chance to see her for what she really was. Soon enough, they both fell for eachother. Their love defied gravity. This is definitley a novel to remember.

Summary: A Walk to Remember
Review: The story, "A Walk to Remember," is about two young adults, who are brought together and fall in love. I think that this book is very good, and the audience this book applies to is varied. Anyone can enjoy this book, and get something out of it, or relate to it in some way. It shows people how a first love feels, and how love can change anyone. The theme of this story I think is to live every day as if it were your last, and never pass up the chance to tell someone you love him/her. The plot in this story is very traditional love story. Two people fall and love, spend every waking minute with each other, and realize that they are meant to be together, but the difference in this story is that in the end it is impossible for them to be together. Landon Carter falls in love with Jamie Sullivan, unexpectedly, and realizes that she is the one. He is heart broken to find that Jamie is terminally ill. I think this whole problem makes there last few months together more valuable. This book definitely stirred my emotions, it made me really think. It made me realize that there is someone out there for everyone. And when you find the person you love, you will do anything to make them happy. I recommend this book to anyone who's in for a little crying, laughing, and smiling. It is a quick book to read, but every bit of it is enjoyable.
