Rating: Summary: Unforgettable Review: This book is a must read for all. It is a very touching love story that you can't put down. I will never forget this book and the message it portrays. It is a very uplifting story that will touch everyone's lives. This is the BEST Nicholas Sparks book by far. All I can say is once you read it, you will understand.
Rating: Summary: Done it again.... This was a great book Review: I thought this was one of my favorite loves stories yet. Having a husband who is in remission of cancer, I related to the pain and love that one can feel for the other. I also graduated from a Christian School and can understand her emotions thorought the book. I can't wait for the next book. Nicholas, please hurry. Does anybody han an e-mail address for Nicholas? I know that Danielle Steel has one.
Rating: Summary: A REALLY NICE STORY - EASY TO READ Review: I'm wondering if anyone else had the feeling, because of the very last sentence in the book, that Jamie survived her illness. Landon tells us in that sentence that there is one thing he still hasn't told us: that he now believes that miracles can happen. The miracle he was praying for was her healing. What does someone else think?
Rating: Summary: Not quite up to par with his other two best-sellers. Review: While not quite up to par with "The Notebook" and "Message in Bottle", this book is an enjoyable, quick read. The lead male character is refreshingly honest and real, but I found the storyline to be a bit unrealistic and sappy. The end seems rushed and abrupt, which left me wondering "what happened next?" I would recommend this book if you like Nicholas Sparks' other titles, but don't expect it to be quite as good. The "Notebook", in my opinion, was one of the most enjoyable books I've ever read.
Rating: Summary: A page turner that I could not put down Review: I loved this book. Nicholas Sparks is one of a kind. His sensitive and "pure" love stories just make you feel good. I read this book in one night. His writing reminds me of the old tear jerker movies from the 50's. Can't wait for his next book!!!!
Rating: Summary: Predictable! ... real drudgery... Review: After reading 'Message in a Bottle', I was prepared to read yet another wonderful love story. I was a bit surprised to read such a boring, predictable, and totally depressing novel...There was no laughter and certainly no tears while reading it. I do wish that Mr. Sparks would write a book with a happy ending!
Rating: Summary: Another winner from Sparks Review: Another winner from Nicholas Sparks. I loved all of his books but I think A Walk to Remember may be his best (or it could just be that it's the freshest in my mind). In any event, it is another moving story that will keep you from beginning to end. I think the reason all his stories are so well written is that he bases them on true stories of those closest to him. Along with Fried Calamari and Tara Road, this is one of the best books I've read this year. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: I laughed and cried on the beaches of Mexico Review: I loved this book. The emotions were so raw and beleivable. I can remeber alot of the teenage angst of asking someone out (or waiting and wanting to be asked out). The dynamics of the relationships is eloquently described. I was sad when I came to the last word. This was my favorite vacation book. I can't wait to see what Sparks writes next.
Rating: Summary: TOOK MY BREATH AWAY Review: OK OK OK WHERE IS THE NEXT BOOK READ ALL THREE LOVED THEM EACH ONE TOOK A PIECE OF MY HEART AND LEFT IT OPEN TO CRY. GREAT BOOK GOOD READING AND NOW WHERE AND WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THE NEXT
Rating: Summary: I cried buckets over this AMAZING book! Review: Nicholas Sparks has such a wonderful gift for making a reader feel every emotion possible. I laughed, and mostly cried through this whole book. But don't misunderstand, it was the kind of cry that makes you feel so good afterwards. The spiritual emphasis in this book was something I enjoyed very much. It is going to make a great Christmas gift for all of my friends!
