Summary: the last 60 pages made the entire book worth reading
Review: I have read all of Nicholas Sparks' books. I have enjoyed all of them, so I was very hopeful and excited about this book. The first couple of paragraphs caught my attention, but then the story got somewhat dull. Just when I thought the pace of the story would never speed up, the plot exploded with suprises and heart-wrenching details. I absolutely adored the ending, which left a question in your mind to what really happened to Jamie. The book definitely gave my heart a good 2 hours of warmth. An easy read.

Summary: A great, quick read
Review: I have finally found the author that writes my kind of novel! I bought it the day it came out in the stores, and I am waiting for the next! I love Nicholas Sparks' stories of innocent, pure love and heartbreak. He tells the stories beautifully and with so much emotion. I began reading one Saturday and finished "Walk" later the same day! I could not put it down! I became so involved with the characters that I could not refrain from sobbing through the second half of the book. It was an incredibly beautiful, moving tale.

For those that complain about Sparks' novels not being realistic, guess what? It's not! That's why it's called Fiction! Most people read fiction novels to "get away" for awhile and be entertained, not scientifically informed and educated. If you want science, read non-fiction because Nicholas Sparks' fabulous love stories are not for you. But I truly think it expands the mind and opens the heart to read such tales of true love.

Summary: Nicholas Sparks touched my heart once again.
Review: I guess I am a sentimental fool, but I loved this latest from Nicholas Sparks. He has a way of touching the very heart and soul of his characters and readers. Married young, a product of the 50's, I was exceptionally taken by his descriptions of the pain felt by the rather outcast Jamie - everyone has met one of these girls. I have been lucky enough to be married to my high school sweetheart for 43 years and I could feel every emotion with every line written. I read all types of books - not romances exclusively - but Nicholas Sparks is a must read in my house. No f-word, no degradation of characters, just good, clean emotions. Thanks again to this really special author.

Summary: As before, Nicholas Sparks has touched my heart
Review: Nicholas Sparks truly writes to the reader. He is able to draw you into the story so much that you cannot put it down. I absolutely loved the book. I would like to hear from others how they interpreted the ending....

Review: I really enjoyed this book, great quick read.

Summary: An OK Book
Review: I finished the book, but wasn't as pleased with it as I was the last two books by the author. .I had something missing to hold one's attenion.

If you are looking for a novel thet you can't put down, I suggest you read Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher.. .What a beautiful story of unrequited love. . .for certain the love story of the nineties." Writer's Digest Associate & published author, Bill Greenleaf

"I intended to give the book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a manuscript more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful."

Summary: The perfect story of how love changes us.
Review: This is a story of a high school senior who meets a girl that will change who he is and the rest of his life. The setting is back in the 1950's when life was much more simple than now. Nicholas Sparks is a remarkable story teller. This love story certainly measures up to The Notebook and Message in a Bottle. Question: What is the miracle he is refering to in the last line of the book? Does he mean she lived? Anyone else wonder about that?

Summary: This is a wonderful story!
Review: I fully enjoyed this book, I was prepared to be unhapppy with the ending! I was pleasantly surprised. I cried through half of the book and fully believe that the miracle at the end of the book was that she lived!! Great book much better than Message in a bottle, at she lived in this book. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic.

Summary: Tugged at all the heartstrings, didn't want it to end!
Review: Having read and loved Sparks'other books, I couldn't wait to get into this one. Really enjoyed the ways in which the author wove wit and sentimentality together. I fell in love with the main characters, and was left with the same question as some of your reviewers - Landon spoke of the "miracle" at the end of the book, making me wonder if he had spent his past 40 years with "Jamie" or with "memories of Jamie." Made me wonder - and I am STILL wondering. Does anyone have an idea?

Summary: Fascinating love story
Review: Sparks somehow finds a way to outdo himself everytime he releases a new book. "A Walk to Remember" was an incredible story and I was unable to put it down.
