Summary: LIGHTEN UP-IT WAS JUST FOR FUN
Review: Sometimes, it's fun just to read for enjoyment and nothing more. And this was the case. It was silly and farfetched, but had fun reading it.

I would like to know just how D. Steele has time to write all of these books and apparently have time to have 4 or is it 5 husbands. I hear that she has people doing her writing for her. What a shame. I have to say her books have gotten better as time goes by, but is she writing them?

Summary: Save your money; go to the library
Review: The book is a creative idea but Danielle Steel copped out at the end. I was very disappointed. Usually I like her books. Save your money and wait for a friend to buy it so you can borrow it. But then again, you can't get your time back from reading it.

Summary: You have got to be kidding, Ms. Steel!
Review: Unfortunately I'm extremely backlogged on my reading and currently have 5 Danielle Steel books in the cue. I just finished "The Klone and I" and have lost my enthusiasm for my marathon Steel sessions. Do I dare pick up another one of her books on the off chance that it will just as disappointing? My advise is to steer clear of this outlandish fantasy. It is too far out there to be believable.

Summary: Don't Read It!!!
Review: I, too, am a Danielle Steel fan. After reading the Klone and I, I could not help but think someone else wrote this book and put Ms. Steel's name on the cover. It was written in journal style-very different from her other books. The plot was ridiculous. I couldn't wait to finish it and couldn't believe that I wasted my time reading it. I hope her next novel is written in the style and quality of her older novels!

Summary: High Tech & Funny
Review: I thought this was a very bizarre book. But, I did enjoy it. I sat at the pool and laughed all the way through it. I thought the ending was great.

Summary: Steele's Worst
Review: I have read Danielle Steele since "The Promise" and this one is probably her worst. I'm sorry she put this book into print. She's much more powerful than this!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Glad I borrowed it from the public library.
Review: Danielle Steel has her moments, and this wasn't one of them! I read the book in under five hours--including time out for dinner--and was glad it didn't take me longer. The first two chapters were great! They reminded me of a couple I know who had similar problems. After that, the book became a cop-out and silly. She tried had to rehash her own worn out storylines and thought she'd be cute by making the Klone be bionic! Hasn't Danielle read anything about the capabilites of today's cloning? Boring! Don't waste the time unless you have a specific need to read all her titles--and borrow if from the library!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Hilariously funny, yet insightful
Review: Stephanie's description of herself when her husband tells her he's leaving will have many married women running for their razors and sorting out their old lingerie! This story of crazy love gives some insights into what women really want in a relationship as compared to what we sometimes THINK we want. Paul all the time would drive us nuts! Ms. Steel has given us a fun look into the value of dependability and true caring.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Borrow from the library. Don't spend your own money.
Review: I am a big Daniel Steel fan and was anxiously awaiting the opportunity to read her latest, The Klone and I. Although this was a very easy read it was NOT one of Steel's best. The plot was very unrealistic (even though cloning is big in the news) which made it hard to keep reading. Many of the events were very predictable and not much "action" was happening. This book was not like many of Steel's other best selling books, Silent Honor or The Long Road Home, which were hard to put down. Hopefully her next book will be better!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Was fast reading. Unfortunately not one of her best.
Review: Danielle Steel got me hooked on her books. I have all of them. Her last book Klone and I has alot to be desired. It was first of all too short and I did not like the plot very much. Hope her next one is longer and has a better plot, like Accident, Daddy and Vanished.
