Summary: Mouth Watering Delicious!
Review: I knew I was going to love this book the minute I finished the prologue. I was not disappointed. It tackled all my emotions and I used a lot of kleenex. The main characters were finely drawn, the old couple were just perfect and the dogs were exceptional. I loved the little touches of the supernatural. I think it's this author's best to date but I say that with each one.

Summary: The best of the best!
Review: I read a review of Plain Jane in People magazine so I bought the book, read it and loved it. The characters were a joy to read about. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. The dogs . . . they were just as wonderful as the human characters. I reaad the epilogue four times and each time I cried harder. It was just a really great book. Plain Jane was my first Fern Michaels book. I then went to... and bought every single book of hers that was on the shelf. In one week I read three books, all wonderful. I don't know how I missed this talented author.

Summary: Fantastic!!!
Review: Another great book by Fern Michaels. Plain Jane is wonderful and keeps your attention right from the beginning clear to the end. You will love the character and how she grows, and the storyline keeps you riveted to your chair waiting to see what happens. Fern again outdoes herself.

Summary: Fern Michaels at her Best
Review: From the first page to the last, I could not put this book down. Fern Michaels has a way of bringing real life into a story of fiction. Jane Lewis tries to help others, when she has her own past haunting her even from childhood. The story line in this book was exceptional. The added "spooks" such as Billie and Jeeter and then her own mother were written into the story so well. I couldn't put this book down until the very last page. It gets a No. 1 rating from me.

Summary: What a silly book!
Review: I preface this review by stating that I have never read any other Fern Michaels books, but I thought this book was really dumb! The characters seemed so one-dimensional. Not only that, the book had too many characters and none of them were very interesting or well developed. I can understand the ugly duckling theme, but I do not think that she really fleshed out the character. What is different about her and why is she so eager to have a relationship with a man that thought so little of her in high school. It also seemed very obvious about the incident in her past, no mystery. No sparks with her leading man, either!

Summary: Plain Jane
Review: This is another great book from a great author. It seems that every book Fern writes is better than the previous one. I have read every book she has ever written and always look forward to her next one.

Keep up the good work!!!!

Summary: Impressive
Review: The full page color ad in Sunday's NEW YORK TIMES was very impressive. Congrats to you, Ms. Michaels. The book is also quite impressive. It gets your attention from the very first page and holds it to the last page. Jane Lewis, a successful psychiatrist, decides it's time to right a horrible wrong that happened many years ago during her college days. The plot twists and turns and makes for very interesting reading.
