Summary: Authoritative directions
Review: Published under the name of the AAA, it is only to be expected that this book will be an authoritative and accurate guide to the highways of Great Britain. On a recent two-week tour of the isles, I used the guide extensively, and it proved to be an invaluable time-saver. The major routes are clearly identified, and I was also able to take some very nice "side trips" in the many minor ("B") roads. Trying to cram as much as possible into a very tight schedule, the guide was a real asset.
