Review: Mr. Beers' passion for the Canadian Rockies is evident on every page of this beautiful guide, history, and photographic masterwork. I only wish this book had been available when I started hiking this area 30 years ago. It is with me at all times when I visit this fabulous area, and whenever I just want to go there in my mind. This is the best book of this type that I have ever seen. The author knows exactly what information the hiker craves, and his command of the natural and human history of the subject is total. Don't miss it!
