Review: I have travelled part of the route described by this book. I found the information in the book very useful in planning our trip and in providing local information which made our travels on this route more enjoyable. The book itself is a good read for anyone who is interested in European travel even if not comtemplating undertaking this specific trip. We are now planning a second stage of this trip and are using this book as a significant reference.

Review: In 1991, four of us, aged 50 - 70, flew to Amsterdam, and from there, in three months, walked the trail as described by the ladies. The detail in which they describe each place they visited, made us feel comfortable when otherwise we may have been apprehensive at the newness of this adventure. They detail places to eat, food to try, little bits of information one might easily overlook all of which enhanced our trip. We have recommened this comprehensive guide to several of our friends. This book will take you by the hand, across Europe, and leave you with a memory for the rest of your life.
