Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The right way to make a map.
Review: I am planning to drive through various counties in South America in the next six months. I seek out excellent maps and this map of Argentina is a must have.

The Rough Guide Maps are "Rip-Proof" & Waterproof because they are printed on a high grade sheet of plastic (kudos), and if you are like me you were trained by two gorillas with Tourette Syndrome on how to re-fold the map. My maps always look pristine on the first day, their last day, and by the final destination they are beyond redemption, often waded or in various pieces.. The Rough Guide Maps are made to make the voyage - their Rough. Because of the plastic fabric that it is made with it folds easier than paper maps.

Also the roads (expressway, highway, secondary and other) are cleanly printed and in sharp detail making reading the map a breeze and the coloring and shading used allows for a good decimation of physical features, such as mountain ranges, valleys and peaks (Altitude noted). What is lacking is that the map is without any inset maps of major cities. This is a short coming but all-in-all this is an excellent road map of Argentina. Highly recommended. 4.5 Stars.
