Rating: 1 stars
Summary: worthless
Review: This book is a disgrace. The subtitle: 'A photagraphic journey' is deceitful. Most pictures are few inches large, all the best given that fact they were probably taken with a 10 dollars plastic lens. As for the journey, well nobody can tell if Mr. Beccaceci ever travelled through Patagonia, most pictures do not carry any caption and could have been taken anywhere from Afghanistan to Greenland. Worst of all the pictures of the original inhabitants of Patagonia, apparently the property of a Museum in Ushuaia, are thrown there without any information on the subject, the time they were taken, the author. The text is an extract from Darwin, plagued with typos.
In short no photographer, no writer, no journey, no editor, not even a map of the supposed Beccaceci's travel on Darwin's steps. Nothing but 50 and odds dollars down the gutter.
