Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Crossing Alaska through Photographs
Review: Crossing Alaska is a "large size" book containing a combination of fantastic color photographs and information about America's last great wilderness adventure: Alaska.

The author, situated in Alaska, during the construction of the Alaska Pipeline, has captured the great beauty and size of Alaska in wonderful color photographs. You'll see the bears, caribou and the playful sea otters.

Her descriptions of the country and the breathtaking landscapes meld perfectly with the full page color photographs. This book is found in many of the hotels in Alaska and near the Denali National Forest as a "come on" to get you to go out and really see the back country; it is well worth it.
