Summary: Wonderful historical photographs and landscape history
Review: This book includes many, many wonderful historical photographs of Colorado landscape. The authors describe it as "a work of landscape history, landscape understanding, and landscape appreciation." I have no background in landscape history but found this book easily accessible, finely written, and stimulating. I live in Colorado, and this book inspired me to spend more time getting to know this state -- and helped me to see the landscape around me in new ways
