Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Handy info
Review: An excellent handbook to an interesting lifestyle. Discusses both pros and cons; is unflinching in it's honesty. Damitio
writes in a style that is philosophical, practical and fun. Highly recommended.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Tells it like it is.

Summary: Not Worth the Effort
Review: Having read the book. Its a vain attempt to make funds to pursue a Bums life. Self Published I assume. His 10 Book/20 Book tours
are nothing more than a attempt to get from one place to another.
His reference to his email list, Is another attempt to get his name again in print. This author shold make a attempt to write more of real life , than a book about "bumming"
This book would appeal to the early 20,s mindset. As the author attempts to portray a nobel lifstyle.
Its not worth the price of buying,, Not even at a yardsale.
His political views really disflavor this read. Author should grow up and realize life is not a FREE ride.
Appparent his buddies are writing the Pro reviews.
In conclusion, its not worth the price of a mere candybar.

Summary: Rough Living was cool. I dug it.
Review: I thought this book kicked...I didn't give it five stars because I felt like the author shoulc have made the book longer. What I liked about it was the honest way the guy talks about things. His tips seemed pretty good for living on the road or the streets but I've never really been in that situation. If I am now, I will probably do better than I would have before. What I really dug was the stories in part two. This guy goes from having a job to being homeless and broke and then somehow ends up in China and all these Asian countries where he makes friends and has incredible adventures. Then somehow he runs out of money again and ends up in Hawaii...

Summary: beatnik adventure for the 21st century
Review: If you want to live on the edge but don't want to take the risks involved, this book is a good way to do both. It showed me a world that I normally would never venture into.

The author's tales are interesting and his honesty and craziness are reminiscent of the beatnik writers of the 50s and 60s.

Summary: Life "off the grid"
Review: Rough Living is well and honestly written. It tells how to survive outside the mainstream on little or no money. It's also a darn good story of one man's adventure. Mr. Damitio tells us honestly that he did some things that he would not do again, nor does he condone nor suggest anyone else use some of his methods; he simply tells us the tale "in the raw". I found the book useful, besides being a great adventure tale. Thanks Chris, for everything. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants out of the "rat race", it gives you an honest look at what it's really like. Great book!
